Polls - you're doing it wrong.
In the last two years mine have given me some grief. My top two came in decently aligned but pointed 15 degrees outward.
My bottom ones are coming in okay - just not poking through the gums completely yet.
It's been quite painful at times and I thought I had one growing on the left side of my jaw, it was really painful and swollen, but then I kept rubbing it and all of a sudden something popped and I spit up some blood and the swelling and pain immediately stopped.

when wisdom teeth come in, they sometimes cause a minor infection in the gum line where they come in. i have all my wisdom teeth, but ive had dental work done in the past year removing 2 broken molars from when a car dropped on me while changing the clutch and 3 months later a wisdom tooth erupted from one of the spots. i dont have much pain from my teeth, but probably from the room that the removed teeth made. i asked my dentist about it and she said if they dont cause any pain, theres no reason to remove them, and i totally agree, getting teeth pulled is no fun.

They're all out by now. They were sticking in odd angles.

I used to, then a snack sized bag of doritos changed all that. You know how they pack your teeth as you chew them? Well a quarter of my bottom left wisdom tooth got packed so full it cracked off. I didn't even feel it until I noticed I was chewing pieces of my own tooth. Even after that it never hurt unless I dug it out with a toothpick.
It didn't make sense to me though, because I brush with a sonicare and I get all the teeth very thoroughly. Either way I went to the dentist to get them removed and to also make brushing easier. I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THE FUCKING BITCH THAT TOOTH WAS BROKEN AND NOT TO JAM THE HOOK IN IT. Guess what she did.
I kicked both feet in the air and sat up screaming as soon as the metal hook lodged itself into the soft dentin of my broken tooth.
Get them removed, even if they don't bother you. It's for the best. Ask Shroomism, he's got a horror story about it.

Plus you're almost guaranteed a couple of days off of work and a nice script of percocet if your dentist isn't a douche. Take a vacation.

I have three of mine in. One got pulled by a mad scientist.
My lower 2 are normal size and my remaining one up top as well the lost one where half the size. I am an evolutionary specimen, some day all rear wisdom teeth will be half sized.

I could have kept mine in, but I decided to have them taken out anyway.
Its a really simple procedure, and they give you enough vicodin to get high
my sister actually has to get hers out tomorrow
