12 hours of dim sunlight

is 12 hours of dim indirect sunlight as good as a light bulb for 12 hours? thats what im using for my pf cakes right now

i would recommend maybe like 15 minutes of direct sunlight a day. I've read Things here and there about it. It definitely increased my pinset though

btw the direct sunlight is only for that 15 min then just go put it back in your indirect sunlight

I`ve grown mushies in almost complete dark so I wouldn`t worry about this. Only problem was, they were growing in all directions.

ya like he said they dont really need light because they dont have much use for it other than they have a cycle like humans and that just lets them know to pin and what not

Not true. Mushrooms aren't plants, but like animals they do have use for light. What happens with the light should be argued in a different forum. The truth is that with light the mushrooms are bigger, meatier, and generally healthier.
Fifteen minutes to an hour of direct sunlight plus an unshaded window is good. If you don't have access to that or to supplement a daylight colored fluorescent bulb is what you need. Artificial light should be close to fruiting chamber.

O plus man you can go buy a CFl light for like 6 dolalrs and those do wonders, lol you can even veg weed with that lol.
