Hippie's Neglect Tek or Invitro

So I was trying to look up this tek but apparently the thread is gone from myco.
I was wondering how to do this.
Will invitro work if I just inoculate pf tek jars and just leave them in there until harvest doing absolutely nothing at all? As in never open them at all? Or should I dunk for 12 hours then just put them back them into the 1/2 pint jars with no misting fanning till harvest?

You need to take the jars out and place them into some sort of fruiting chamber for any type of worthwhile results

I realize that and what I am saying is that you arent going to get anything worthwhile with invitro cakes. A bag fuck yes but a cake fuck no. You arent going to be able to provide any sort of FAE within a jar. Ive seen jars stuck into a fruiting chamber with good results but not what you are trying to do

It's just that I've seen decent grows with invitro and was just planning on trying it. Thanks for your input though appreciate it
I'm having a monotub grow too so yeah this is just for shits.

Like Unnamed said, use a bag for invertro fruiting... If your trying to do this with cakes, i'd suggest birth, dunk, roll, then bag... won't do very well though due to the lack of FAE, but feel free to try...

decent results with invitro jars? Where the fuck do the shrooms go to? There is no room for anything really. Ive had invitro pins sure but they are deformed shrooms that dont weigh fuck all. Id love to see an example of what your planning

Invitro brf cakes will produce nearly as much as cakes fruited in a terrarium. After full colonization, open up the jar and rinse the verm barrier out. Put the lid back on and slam the jar on a wooden block to dislodge the cake if necessary. The mushrooms will grow into the void and around the edges.
It's slower than using a terrarium, but much easier. RR

So should the jar be upside down? And in this tek I don't have to fan or mist correct? Also do I take off the tape covering the holes?

Yea something like that. The only problem is with all those pins there is only so much space to grow while a cake in an FC has unlimited. Those shrooms just dont have much room to get bigger

You can go invitro in quart jars of grains too. It helps to add a bit of verm, hydrate with weak liquid coffee, and use larger than normal gas exchange holes in the lids. Obviously it doesn't yield as much as spawning to bulk, but it's the ultimate stealth method because there's no fruiting chamber. RR

But those qt jars need to be broken up to get the fruit out... makes it tough for a 2nd flush though I assume... Unless you're just going for 1 flush anyway and have a few hundred jars...

Yes. I used the bottom of a water bottle with many holes as a stand, ran out of fc space and it worked but produced oxygen starved wimpy mushies....certainly works tho.
