what's the typical uniform of an al Qaeda operative versus the daily dress of the average afghani civilian?

Do al Qaeda soldiers dress up as little children and women? I know that they use women and children as bait and shields, but regardless, they still get killed by both sides.

doh!

I wonder why there's so many civilian casualties, especially when you see images like this

had they not provoked wars then they wouldnt be at war and the civilians wouldnt be dying via US munitions... simple logic

I understand the logic. I just think it's wrong - and that it doesn't absolve American military of responsibility for the civilians that have been killed.

Sure, held in an invaded Iraq, where US have interfered with basically anything they shouldn't have.
Besides the oil I don't see what was actually their problem with Iraq, you don't see Americans invading African countries that live under dictatorships to free them, or Latin America for that matter.

you're making the assumption that this was about oil, Iraq was avout
violations of UN sanctions and a surrender agreement from a decade earlier

I didn't make an assumption, I said "Besides the oil, I can't see...".
States the most obvious hypothesis.
How many dictators in Africa, Asia and South America commit(ed) crimes against humanity and the US never interfered?
They even had business with Saddam when he was already a tyrant, and it was all good then.

I also recall at the time that the Bush admin alleged they where looking for weapons of mass destruction or bringing democracy to the middle east :confused2:
They're probably still looking for the WMD and were more successful bringing chaos, death and destruction than democracy.

All Saddam had to do was abide by the terms he signed for surrender and there would have been no war.

Oh lord. Really? Like you really believe this??

So everyone that has been killed in the wars can be blamed on Saddam and terrorists??
And the US killings are thus justified??

Man. I know we do not see eye to eye on anything but holy god.

I didnt make the ludicrous claim so the burden of proof is not on me, Kada

now all I'm asking is that he prove the claim that DU rounds used in the

can you back up his claim?

I forgot to answer one of your questions. No I don't blame people who want to join the military for honorable reasons. I blame them when they cause more unnecessary violence when they do things that they know they shouldn't do even if ordered to. I blame the government and the asshats at the top making all of these horrible decisions that they never have to even be in the middle of and making honorable men do dishonorable things.

I can't believe people are actually trying to defend Osama and his cause by posting shit that the United States did/or does  The United States is wrong in trying to expand it's sphere of influence in the Middle East. And Osama was wrong in trying to destroy infidels because we set foot on Islamic "holy land." The world is a fucked up place...

geiger counters go off like crazy around uranium ore, and i can literally tape a chunk of it to my stomach and nothing bad would happen.

theres a massive difference between harmful doses of radiation and detectable levels of radiation.

are you just ignoring the posts im making that are full of hard facts about how harmless depleted uranium is? because it sure seems that way.

the increase, they're simply making the claim

The Taliban offered George Bush bin Laden, but Bush said no. In 2001.

Quote:

President George Bush rejected as "non-negotiable" an offer by the Taliban to discuss turning over Osama bin Laden if the United States ended the bombing in Afghanistan.

George Bush: what an asshat.

They had their chance.  Your own fucking link:

Quote:

President George Bush rejected as "non-negotiable" an offer by the Taliban to discuss turning over Osama bin Laden if the United States ended the bombing in Afghanistan.

Returning to the White House after a weekend at Camp David, the president said the bombing would not stop, unless the ruling Taliban "turn [bin Laden] over, turn his cohorts over, turn any hostages they hold over." He added, "There's no need to discuss innocence or guilt. We know he's guilty". In Jalalabad, deputy prime minister Haji Abdul Kabir - the third most powerful figure in the ruling Taliban regime - told reporters that the Taliban would require evidence that Bin Laden was behind the September 11 terrorist attacks in the US, but added: "we would be ready to hand him over to a third country".

The offer came a day after the Taliban's supreme leader rebuffed Bush's "second chance" for the Islamic militia to surrender Bin Laden to the US.

Mullah Mohammed Omar said there was no move to "hand anyone over".

Can you read?

better stay inside. in a brick building. underground. with no lights. and especially no bananas. theyre pretty radioactive too.
