No, but people who condone these things are just as bad as the people who commit these acts of insanity. That way of thinking is what keeps this shit going and adds to the ignoance and suffering of the world.

al-Qaeda doesn't see it that way. Osama sure as hell didn't.
Long story short, Osama had beef with the U.S. military. Instead of retaliating against the military, he went after the throats of innocent lives who wanted nothing to do with war, or violence. He went after the wrong people.
Yet, he had no problem taking the Soviets head on. He was considered a "freedom fighter". Why couldn't he do the same to the U.S. military?
Granted, there's been some fucked up things that have happened in Iraq, but did the victims of the World Trade Center have anything to do with it? Didn't make any difference anyway. They were American. Death to America, says he.
Because you are American, and don't believe in Allah, you are an infidel.
It's completely inappropriate. We, the civilians, are NOT the bad guys. He killed civilians anyway, and he was damn proud of it. He earned his death sentence.
Although I will agree with one thing here; the celebration is getting to be too much. At first it was like, hell yea score one for the team, but then everyone seems to be forgetting that we are not even close to ending the war.

why is that fishy? the man was a coward and not a fighter; he only used guns in pr and propoganda, not in the field.

He was anything but a coward. You obviously know nothing about him or a thing he has done but what the media says. He fought on the front lines and earned the respect of veteran soldiers. He may have done some fucked up shit, but he wasn' t a coward by any means.

you're making the assumption that this was about oil, Iraq was avout violations of UN sanctions and a surrender agreement from a decade earlier

Depleted uranium doesn't just fuck up your immune system, it destroys genetics.
bullshit, the US pretty much stayed out of Afghanistan until 1998 whe the US launched an attack against Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan in retaliation for the bombing of 2 embassies and none of the missiles used had nuclear payloads... in the 90s we were busy in Iraq with Saddam and occupied in central europe with the genocide of Bosnian by Milosevic
the infant mortality rate in afghanistan has been in a decline for decades and none of it has to do with the US presence there

for what? what did you do when you were in the corp, when and where did you serve, you certainly didnt learn dick about US actions in the middle east while you were in because you damn sure dont know dick about it now
why not show us the statistics of pre 1991 iraqi birth defects and post 1991 statistics, dont just link us to a 2009 news article or some pictures of a few dozen kids with birth defects because that's not proof of anything other than a few dozen kids with birth defects

Huge rise in birth defects in Falluja
Iraqi former battle zone sees abnormal clusters of infant tumours and deformities
* Martin Chulov in Falluja * guardian.co.uk, Friday 13 November 2009 19.24 GMT
Quote:
Doctors in Iraq's war-ravaged enclave of Falluja are dealing with up to 15 times as many chronic deformities in infants, compared to a year ago, and a spike in early life cancers that may be linked to toxic materials left over from the fighting. ...A group of Iraqi and British officials, including the former Iraqi minister for women's affairs, Dr Nawal Majeed a-Sammarai, and the British doctors David Halpin and Chris Burns-Cox, have petitioned the UN general assembly to ask that an independent committee fully investigate the defects and help clean up toxic materials left over decades of war – including the six years since Saddam Hussein was ousted.
"We are seeing a very significant increase in central nervous system anomalies," said Falluja general hospital's director and senior specialist, Dr Ayman Qais. "Before 2003 [the start of the war] I was seeing sporadic numbers of deformities in babies. Now the frequency of deformities has increased dramatically."
The rise in frequency is stark – from two admissions a fortnight a year ago to two a day now. "Most are in the head and spinal cord, but there are also many deficiencies in lower limbs," he said. "There is also a very marked increase in the number of cases of less than two years [old] with brain tumours. This is now a focus area of multiple tumours."
Dr. Trina Yadgari, an obstetrician at Istiqlal Hospital in Kabul, said that in 2008, 16 out of 3,700 children born at the hospital had some sort of birth defect, while in 2009 there were 4,000 births and 34 birth defects.

he was on the 'front line' when his position was over run in Jaji in 1987 and in Jalalabad in 1989, he started wearing camo jackets and carrying a weapon after his time in peshwar, the weapon was an AK he took from a dead soviet general

So all the Depleted Uranium we dropped on them isn't harming them or effecting births?
