Worried about Overlay - What do you EXPERT growers think?

It's been several years since I've grown and I'd like to get opinions as to how this looks. This is the Mckenna Penis Envy and it's colonizing like a bear!
I cased 6 colonized mason jars into this tub on 4/21 with a 1" casing of verm. I left the temps at around 82-84 and kept in the dark for 4 days with foil. On 4/25 I birthed it by taking off the foil, temp reduced to around 76-78 and lights on 12 hours/day. I've been fanning and misting at least 3 times/day.
So it's now 11 days since I cased it and 7 days since fruiting conditions were implemented.
Wish I saw some pinning and I think it's doing well, just thought I'd get some expert opinions! It sure is colonizing like a bitch!
Thanks!

Is that (something) cased with verm?

It's not overlay exactly, but you aren't getting enough FAE by a long margin.

a whole inch of colonized verm? woa.
if your bottom layer is thinner id flip it over onto some foil and increase your air flow.

At least. Then mist to replace the moisture lost from all your fanning.

I find it strange it isn't green yet. That really looks more like mold than mushroom mycelium. RR

I thought it looked a bit bacterial but didn't want to jinx anything.

Really? Damn, it has seemed like a very healthy robust mycelium to me. It has no smell and the terrarium has a very clean feel.
RR, I hope you're wrong but I know you know your craft. Send me some blessings eh?
Keep y'all posted.

I slept on this one and I'm really curious why it might look so unusual to you guys - As I mentioned it really feels very clean and there is NO unusual odor.
I really don't believe it's bacterial and that it is clean mycelium.
So what about it looks off to you guys? I don't have a lot of experience with mushies (one successful grow about 4 years ago) so I can't distinguish why it looks bad, except that it colonized very aggressively.
Could it just be the strain? Is there a bacteria that has no smell and is so white?
The top is showing a bit of discoloration now, but my last grow turned a bit yellowish on the top and was fine.
Today is day 13 since casing (first 4 days dark) so I think I'm still in the window of normalcy for expecting the first pins, but I'd sure like to see some little guys soon!
Thanks again for the input...

I have had overlay like this with similar "bubble" like formations and a few brownish liquid droplets on the bubbles. Also there were few mushrooms, and most of them were a bit deformed and never sporulated. The bubbles were hollow, you could check if that applies to yours as well.
I wondered if what my tub had caught was "wet bubble" but it didn't fit the description since the fruitbodies themselves were not directly affected with wet bubble. It happened with one particular strain I grew only and the condition didn't spread to other tubs or trays at all.
Best of luck.

Having just had trich myself, it looks very similar to trich BEFORE it turns green. Hard to explain how it looks different, more white, fluffy and robust compared to normal myc.
When my cake because infected with trich, you could visably notice the white on white difference like night and day.
Im not an expert, and it may be fine because like RR said, if it is trich its surprising that it has sporolated or whatever, green

Back to the drawing board - and I'll be spending some time on the contamination forum!
Thanks for the input everybody
