Good job waiting two weeks.
At this point you should probably have seen something. Give it another week before you toss them, but start on Plan B now is my advice. Agar is cheaper and easier than it seems... get a little pressure cooker.

do i have to toss it completely, or can i just re-cook everything and shoot em up again? ive been doing alot of reading about agar on here..it seems like it has a wider range of uses as well, and alot more easier to work with when it concerns contams..im really unsure about it tho

Why would you recook them? Why would you risk you next grow on jars that aren't fresh?

Oh the jars and lids are fine. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, air dry.

Save the last few drops to use for LC. And a few drops ahead of that for a few agar plates. Stretch the rest in regular jars, using just a tiny bit in each hole, enough to trickle down the glass. Is my advice.

i did this with 2 of my jars and i had 6-8 spots of germination rather than the 4 big spots that start to form. kept it flat and gave 2-3 quick wrist spins.

that's not the reason why. You just had several spores germinate. If the pf sub moves, big mistake. You can wait another week, but you are nearing the end of hope that they are gonna take off. If they didn't take off on the pf cake, they most likely aren't going to do any better on agar or in an lc. Of course, unless the jars you got were just old and dried out

yea i kno i had several spores germinate. but like i said they were all across the jar, not just at the inoculation points. some were at the inoc points some were scattered around the jar. i only did the spin cous of like you said, to redistribute the contam barrier. but also gave me surprising results.

the jars i got were purchased from a store, ive noticed an amount of condinsation inside the jars..when i got my spore syringes they were clear..i did the shake like hell stuff, but didnt really even show and dispersment..it just looked like water in a syringe..ill wait another week, and see..is it possible that its colonizing the inside of the cake first or is that just a stupid noob theory?

should have seen something. i made 10 jars with a single syringe and all showed something by day 4, well a inoculation spot did not take and by the time the myc grew to it i had removed the jar and isolated cos that spot started to grow idk maby a week after inoculation, then i liked at it a couple days later and realized it was from an inoculation spot and it was fine.might have been high at the first time i saw it. i was talking to a guy recently and after he waited 2 weeks we discovered he had a bunk syringe. clear you say it was, bunk your syringe i believe. you should have seen some lil black in the syringe.

That's possible, if you didn't make any effort to touch the syringe to the glass, when you inoculated, like you are supposed to do

idk but i would imagine that after 2 weeks something should have grown out and be visible. like he said tho the syringe was clear. my lc syringe was clear with white specks in it when i shook it up.

i just looked at my last 3 ccs in the syringe, there were a couple black specs, but not very many..i didnt really attempt to shake for very long this time, my syringe was on the glass everytime, and i watched it run down the sides and all that..i think the moisture inside the brf jars is whats causing the problem..any opinions on that?

2 cups verm added to 1 cup water, Mix well, then add BRF. Should be fine. Have GE hole(s)? If your good with a syringe make another batch & see what happens.
