Habitat: found it growing in the backyard, on some wood-chip underneath a wet t-shirt.
Gills: White/creamy white coloured gills, not attached to the stem,
Stem: 6 - 7 cm, white, hollow, thin, red bruising (might be absorbing some of the colours out of the wood?
Cap: color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color: can you get spore prints without removing the cap from the stem? it looks pretty cool and i dont really want to kill it.
Bruising: red light brown
Other information: was found in the backyard near the mulch heap growing near some subs, smells like normal mushrooms
it was a cool find though because I lifted the t-shirt and it only growing on one small bit of wood-chip which you can see in pic's 2-4

thanks or that,
they look alot like a bright red sub, which has got me worried about some of the other mushrooms growing near it, im going to have to get prints of them all.
it says that Leratomyces ceres is meant to have light purple to brown spores, have you ever done a spore print? because it sounds as thought they could look similar to subs without a scope.

Both Psilocybe subaeruginosa and Leratiomyces ceres will have a purple-brown spore print, so that's not the best way to tell them apart.
P. subaeruginosa doesn't have red caps and L. ceres doesn't bruise blue.

And if it was P. Subaeruginosa wouldn't it also stain blue?

Psilocybe subaeruginosa will stain blue but Leratiomyces ceres will not.
