Funny thing of it is, in this recording, the quote is spoken by Alan Watts, but it is actually Sir Arthur Eddington who said it.

Today, just a few hours ago, I was listening to a lecture that included the random quote: "Not only is the universe stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine."
Guess who said it: Sir Arthur Eddington
