Not to make other sponsors lose business of course but if you buy from Sporeworks(which i do) they usually throw in an extra syringe if you mention you're a member here in the comment section of the order. Quote:

Definitely cubensis then. Not PE though since I heard it's not the best for a first time grower.

Hmmm...they pretty much all grow the same except for PE. SporeWorks has a choice spore special for 9.50 a syringe and they pretty much give you what they have a lot in stock of. Not saying they give you the stuff nobody wants but its always a nice surprise to see what strain(s) you get in the mail

Ive heard some bad reviews on B+....Never had experience growing it though. Just heard of bunk harvests with no potency.....Any variety can have a bunk harvest but Ive heard alot horror stories with B+....

I know, I don't have experience growing them. But with the 100's of hours research Ive done B+ certainly takes the cake with bad reviews

That's because tons of newbs that don't know what they're doing grow B+ and then bitch about it. I've never had a problem with B+ potency and have found it to be an exceptional performer all around.
I can support this. My 1st B+ (2nd project ever) was weak in yield and potency. My 2nd B+ (4th or 5th project ever) was MUCH better in yield and potency. Both were MS, so it could have been random genetics at play
For the OP, try Golden Teacher, Ecuador, Oak Ridge, or B+. It doesn't really matter if you are just starting. It's more about getting the basics down and mistakes out of the way. Afterward, you'll be cloning, isolating, and flushing canopies!

My opinion:
The marketing behind B+ is probably the most successful of any strain ever. I dont know if its the whole Mr. G BS about a cube/azure hybrid, or the "easiest to grow" BS that is marketed.
As such damn near every noob tries it for the first grow. Is it a bad choice? No. Its hard to go wrong with ANY cube.
I dont find it any easier or more difficult to grow than any other cube. A cube is a cube. The only difference is which dominant set of genetics you are dealing with. Every MS grow is like playing the Lottery. With the millions of spores produced, to think that one specific strain is inferior to another is BS as far as Im concerned.

Ive worked with B+ for years and it never has given me a problem... I think it is a great species, however a cube is a cube is a cube is a cube is a cube is a cubbbbbeeee. Just follow procedure and your mushies will turn out just fine.
