How does this make you feel?

"Walker objected to the Court's calculation of the weight of LSD, because the sentencing guidelines permitted the Court to consider more than the "pure" weight of LSD contained in the substances. Dkt. # 69, at 3. Walker's attorney cited a Fourth Circuit decision supporting this argument, but could not provide any Tenth Circuit precedent on this issue. The Court determined that § 841 required it to consider the weight of the mixture or substance possessed by Walker and rejected Walker's argument"

"The Court sentenced Walker to life imprisonment based on the existence of two or more felony drug offenses."

A 25-year-old Lloydminster man who "snapped" while changing his infant son's diaper, fatally injuring the child, has received a prison sentence of 5 1/2 years for manslaughter.

James Andrew Larose initially denied knowing what had happened to his son, six-month-old Camden Bounting, for several days after the baby was found lifeless in his crib on the morning of March 19, 2009, according to an agreed statement of facts presented Tuesday in Court of Queen's Bench.

RCMP charged Larose with second-degree murder after an autopsy showed blunt force trauma to the child's abdomen had ruptured the small intestine. He pleaded guilty last year to the lesser offence of manslaughter.

http://www.leaderpost.com/news/Sask+gets+years+prison+after+getting+daughter+pregnant+twice/4679152/story.html

"
In August of 2004, a 12-year-old girl came into the Regina General Hospital in advanced labour, giving birth to a son the following day.

Hospital staff became suspicious both because of the girl's young age and because she didn't provide the name of the father.

Rumours began swirling that the father of the baby was also, in fact, the girl's father and so began a police investigation that resulted finally on Tuesday in a six-year sentence for the father on a charge of sexual assault.

she eventually admitted her father had given her alcohol and then had sex with her, resulting in the two pregnancies. The assaults occurred between Nov. 1, 2003, and Dec. 31, 2005, both within Regina and in other locations in the province.

The 45-year-old man — who can't be named to prevent identifying the victim, his biological daughter — entered the guilty plea Tuesday at Regina Provincial Court in relation to assaults on the girl that eventually resulted in the birth of that child and a second just over a year later. After hearing submissions, Judge Dennis Fenwick — referring to the offences as "reprehensible" — agreed to impose the six-year term as jointly proposed by Crown and defence lawyers. The six years are over and above the approximate 10 1/2 months the 45-year-old has already spent on remand, and also take into account a guilty plea for failing to appear in court — meaning the actual total sentence is closer to seven years.

So let me get this straight...you bash and beat your own baby to death...5 years in prison, you sexual abuse and rape your 10-11 year old daughter and impregnate her, no big deal, 6 years, but you sell a substance to someone who CHOOSE to buy it and ingest it...you get life?  seriously, wtf?  That's how it makes me feel.

How about you?

This is one reason among many why LSD is illegal in the first place. Our society is genuinely sick. It's defunct.

LSD potentially places someone in a mind state that increases the likelihood they will question such things. An unfair discrepancy in prison sentencing is just the tip of the iceberg.

They didn't instigate an entire manhunt for Tim Leary because they were jealous of his mad pussy-hunting skills.

Damn fucking straight. It makes me fucking cringe to think what is considered to be a "normal" or "sane" individual in our society. People would damn well call me a lunatic if I openly spoke about my experiences induced by DMT and the thoughts in my mind but the ironic thing is - I'm 3564836x more fucking sane than these mentally diseased people.

We see drinking neurotoxic trash as leisure and ruin the life of someone who may have potentially expanded the consciousness of many yet someone who destroyed his OWN FUCKING BABY'S LIFE FOREVER and ruined his daughter's life FOREVER only get 5 years knocked off?

That is some fucked up shit, but that first guy busted for LSD had to have some sort of prior record to get a sentence like that and who knows if the people in those other cases had criminal records.

Yep, they noted he had two prior drug convictions and that was the reason he got life.  drug convictions.  If he sold someone a pack of ciggerettes or a bottle of booze, no big deal, but because it's on the fucked up "illegal" list...it's enough for a one way ticket to a cell for the rest of his life?  fucked up shit in my opinion.

Selling substances to people who want them in the first place shouldn't be illegal.  No one is being victimized in his lsd transaction.  He isn't forcing it and anyone who is buying is an adult choosing to do so on their own accord.  But that's a whole other arguement.

If they want to send people to jail for life because of drugs, which I think is fucked up beyond belief, fine, but in contrast, how can they justify a guy only getting 5 years for bashing a newborn to death?

It makes me feel angry.  It makes me feel like the government is one big bag of ass cancer.  I hear and read stories like this every other day.  Then I hear about the war and then I hear about this and that and this...it's a growing hatred tumour growing in my head...for years and years...and it's ready to fucking pop.  I want some fucking justice.  And not just against the baby bashers and the rapists.  I want to take all the high up government officials and put them in a fucking hole in the wall cell WITH all the baby bashers and rapists.  Lock the door and walk away...for life.  Let them all do what they will those pig fuckers.

If they want to castigate people for selling harmful drugs they should throw everyone in Big Pharma into a fucking gas chamber for causing more problems with their bullshit medication than good.

Protecting those companies profits is one of the big reasons for the war on drugs.
