Hy everybody.New on this forum:) I need some advice about my Shrooms. Are they edible? The are Golden Teacher a.k.a Psilocybe Cubensis. and this is my set-up: first it appeared this
then appeared something green(mold?)
I divided the casing in tree: 1. place closest to green stuff 2.,3, second closest to the green 4.,5. most away from gree stuff

The shrooms growed a lot more beautyfull that were away from the gree. see for yourself..
1.
2.,3.
this is one one of them..what is it?
4.,5.
one one of them..what is it?
underneath they hrave become a little greenish..?
and, so did at the stables when i cut the end..?
What do yall say? Are the edible? or contaminated? it is my first time

The "green" on your fruits is actually blue bruising.
The green on your sub is probably trichoderma. Get rid of that tub before you contaminate your whole house.
You didn't allow the fruits on #1 to grow to maturity, that's probably why you don't think they're as pretty.

You should fan dry for 3 days and then toss them in a tub with some desiccant for another couple days.

Rice is a good touch but extremely slow. It was used in the old days to keep moisture out of salt and sometimes sugar as well as keep the molds that like humidity away from food storage but desiccant is good stuff.
Nice job on your grow :-)

drawer?don't know.. it seemed like a good idea, it's dark and dry? and yes, they are a litlle soft, like still filled with moisture-water, and they have gotten quite dark too.But yall convinced me,I'm gonna eat em anyway
About the rice,i'we read somewhere, just before, that it acts as a desiccant yes.Don't know where to buy a real desiccant in our country, so i'll stick with the rice.. and thank you for the congrats

Well if you don't have desiccant by all means do the rice
You could also fan them or change the paper towel or papers under them everyday to ensure most moisture absorbance. Also, if you are doing rice, I would use a good amount.
