Innc' quart jars

This may seem like a very basic question but it is a concern nonetheless..
When innc' quart jars made with rye berries, do you inject the liquid spores on the side like pint jars or just "spray" them on the top of the rye berries as there is only one injection point.
Also, since I'm on the topic, is 2.5cc enough per jar?
Thanks everyone!

I shoot down the side of the jar so that you can better observe the progress in the jar but I only use 1 cc max.

Alright thanks.
The reason I suggested 2.5cc is because on the out-grow's(a sponsor) website, they claim to used 2cc-4cc...
And also, in this post:
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/13431948
He uses 3cc - 4cc of LC..
Does the fact its LC differ from just a spore syringe in the amount used?

Yes it does. Faster growth using more LC as long as you dont fuck up your moisture content.

I use a 10cc syringe to inoculate 12 jars. That's about .8 cc for each.
I use jars with a tyvec patch for GE and a self-healing port in the middle. To make it easier to see the growth in my jars, I tilt them to a 45 degree angle so that the spore solution drips down one side.

I use 1cc per jar and poke two holes in the lid. Cover that with tyvek envelope you can get for free at usps.com and innoc down the sides. I personally don't shake, but it'll work either way. The main concern is to just not being lazy. Sterility is king.

Not to be overly paranoid, but should I shoot all 1cc into one spot or try to "spread" it out?
Sorry for the crazy questions.
