5 inoculation points & colonization

Been looking around for about a good half hour now and cant find an answer of many sorts. If I used 5 inoculation points on a BRF half pint ziploc quick snap (theyre circular and very shallow [about 2 inches tall]) four on the edges and one in the center. should i still do the full week consolidation period or would it be ok to cut a few days off of the consolidation because technically the center was colonizing with the rest of the cake...?

Regardless of how many inoculation points you use IMO you should leave your BRF cakes for 5-7 days after full colonization to consolidate. This goes for multi-spore and liquid culture.
One thing you will learn in this hobby is patience, you cannot rush nature and a cake that is birthed without consolidation will likely sit in your fruiting chamber for an extra week before fruiting anyway.

I was wondering almost the same thing as OP so I'll bump this thread.
My syringe is graduated by 0.2ml making it really hard to squeeze out 0.25ml at a time. I figured I could use an extra inoc. point in the center to make things easier for me. (5x0.2ml instead of 4x0.25ml) Any reason I should NOT do that???

Your fine man. The only reason I wouldn't do it that way is if u get a contam in the center innoc point you won't catch it right away. .2 would have been fine, .05 ml won't make a difference. Either way though, I wouldn't worry a bit
