Two types of people?
    #14386890 - 05/02/11 04:56 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I don't usually like these types of all encompassing statements, but this ran through my head recently. Two types: the type of person that realizes everything is subjective, and the type of person that hasn't yet. The latter is completely unsuitable for engaging in any sort of philosophical discussion. :dead:

How is everything subjective?  1+1 is defined to be 2.  This equality is not subject to interpretations and such.

If you do an experiment and conclude a causes b, that conclusion is not subjective- it is proven to the limits of the experiment.

Do you have a link?

Ha ha, just kidding.

Well I agree with your realization.  Except to think philosophy is then worthy of even consideration or discussion frankly disappoints me.  You need to move past boxes of all kinds, Grasshopper...
