Sounds pretentious right, but ill swear im in a different world than the average person and dont think i would ever waste away at a shitty 10 dollar an hour job but im not that good at academics either. The only thing i can think of that works in this description other than finding off jobs is to play music.
and before you boast ill just say i am finishing up a college degree so im not just sitting around doing nothing, but overall academics dont interest me that much.
I'm actually posting this though cause im curious if anyone's ever had this problem?

They're too enlightened to post as us regular forum users.

Deal with it, everyone has to work. :P

If you feel time spent the wrong way would be a waste, then find a job where you can spend time the way you choose.
A night security guard probably has so much downtime, that he could do pretty much anything he wanted, so long as it remained on the premises. You also need to look longterm though, because although a downtime job will get you what you want now, youll also be working 30 more years when you could have retired with a job that you really put your time into earlier.
Thats why a lot of people get their PhDs and retire at 60, because they realized theyre still alive and well for 30 years afterwards, and want to have all that time to themselves.
