Good excuses for having so many effin' jars?

I happened to move to a bigger apt about 2 weeks ago and I have 50 qt jars in a tote. I was wondering what a good reason for having so many jars? I see people can jelly and such in it but I'm not the type to can 50 qt jars with jelly. My crazy mind went through the scenario that they'd say something to the condo complexes owner and I don't want people keeping a eye out for me before I even moved in.

You make pickles ever so often. You just love salt brine pickles so much that you can eat 50 jars a year.
Been awhile since you made a good batch, but this summer or fall you hope to brew some cucumbers into those tasty pickles.
*note* in the fall, go and buy some pickles and shove a few in a jar and give them to your nosy neighbors as gifts.

Great idea, looking for a lot of options along this line. Pickles easy to jar? I should probably pick up a book on how to do this, this is great 'cause my girlfriend loves pickles ;] lmao.

If you walked into my apartment, you would say I absolutely pride myself in great storage ideas and units. Saying I have 50 jars for storage wouldn't seem believable in my case.

Oh I'm also of asian decent, Vietnamese to be exact. My mother is a traditional FOB straight from our homeland and she jars Kim Chi and all sorts of crazy shit. I think that'd be a good excuse if my landlord and his employees are oblivious to asian culture lol.

My grandparents always have lots of jars. My grandpa has a whole basement full of preserved foods in jars. It's not that suspicious. If you're that worried about it, put them in a plastic storage bin.

Make a glass jar xylophone.

I didn't have such good luck with bags, but I'm about to try it out again and if it goes well, those jars will be put to good use when I use my BB gun to destroy them.
For the time being though, I'll fill it up with some Kim Chi and hand em out to my asian neighbors and the employees of the place lol.
