tub not fully colonized, 1 mushroom growing! seeking advice

Well as stated it the title, my tub isn't fully colonized, its around 70% and there's a good 3-4 inch shroom growing in the middle, it has a decent sized cap and seems to be maturing still, so the question is, should I pick it and toss or wait for it to grow to maturity? The tub is sealed with very little air exchange, just whatever the lid doesn't hold in.
Any advice is appreciated, my other tub is doing fine, and other than this little guy its doing good as well.

thats definatly not right. give more details of your grow.
the first pinning trigger is full colinisation. if yoiur getting a fruit at this early stage it could mean something else has colinised what the mycelium hasnt. in other words it could be contamination.

Uh oh, well I'm hoping its not a contam. My grow is wbs spawn, spawned to coco coir/vermiculite, pasteurized per damion5050s tek, I have 2 mini mono tubs with duct tape covering the ventilation holes, no FAE and very little light exposure, the mycelium looks very wet and I don't know if that would mattter, but from what I've read losing moisture is one of the pinning triggers for mycelium. I'm hoping its not contam, and I can post pics if its absolutely necessary. Thanks for the responses guys, its good to have a place where we can all seek counsel from eachother.

when your colonization stops and fruiting begins it could be a few things:
1. your sub has colonized to its fullest capacity and is ready
2. the parts that arent colonized could be too wet or dry, making it hard to colonize
3. you have a bacterial infection somewhere in that tub
4. trich is lurking soemwhere you cant see it yet.
now not all of the reasons that you have started fruiting can be applied to you, but you should keep a careful eye on it.
without actually being the mycellium, at this point, it's hard to tell whats happening, other than your substrate started fruiting earlier.
think of this hobby as an ever constant learning experience, what this tub, see how it plays out and then you can try to alter things accordingly.
however if its trich, then your sterile technique is to blame, but you wont know til you see colors other than white.
pics would be nice too.

My computer isn't hooked up at the moment, ill set it up and upoad pics from my camera within the hour or so, but I notice no visible signs of contam although my substrate is dripping wet, along with the walls of the tubs. I opened the tubs for the first time since I mixed the spawn in to introduce some FAE and lower humidity a tad bit.
My spawn jars of wbs had fairly large pins when I mixed it, do you think that has anything to do with it?

This has happened to me. The 1/4cm mushroom is peeping at the side of the jar. The jar is 60 -70% colonized.
It looks healthy, the mycelium is a good colour and the mushroom just looks like the mushies I normally get when my jars goes in the light.
I'm unsure whether or not to just stick it in its teranium?
