Standing water in WBS/P-corn

Hey gang, I used some PE LC for 20 WBS and popcorn qts 2 weeks ago. The shit took off ravenously; I have never had such quick and even colonization, even before a shake! But about 5 days ago, i noticed there is standing water in 4 of the jars. I'd say this may be normal condensation as I've seen in pf jars and grains before, but my paranoia made me place them on there sides to get the water off of the bottom. Upon inspection of the bottom, the area seemed a bit behind in colonization. Then my dumbass tilted them hard and some of that rusty looking' water drizzled out. I of course wiped down the jar with a non-bleach wipe, and tightened the lid. Just wondering what's going on, I'd say the jars are at about 80-90% colonized, and look healthy and thick myc with exception of the water. Any thoughts? Thanks for reading, Z

there may have been excess water to begin with and it slowly drained to the bottom of the jars... how long did you soak/simmer and were the grains pretty much dry to the touch before you PCd? But I dont know "rusty colored" water doesnt sound too good...

Fuck I've had all sorts of issues with liquid in jars, funky smells and funky looking fruits where people said yeah dude it's a bacterial infection. I got good flushes off of these suspect substrates, and didn't poison anyone, but as a noob how would i know? i soak for 18-24 hours and simmer until the grains have doubled/tripled in size without most of the grains breaking their shell. The spawn are then rinsed with warm water and drain in the same colander over a 12-36 hour period depending on my degree of laziness. I must admit that these questionable jars came out of the PC with water droplets on the sides of the jars above the grain level. You all don't ever get condensation from colonizing jars? I know I have. I would attribute the rusty color to natural dye/pigment leached from uncolonized WBS, but who am I? Thanks for your responses folks

yer cool as long as the grain colonizes doc is rather un reliable sometimes not saying he is wrong it prob is bacteria but the mycellium can prob fight it off

Thanks again punker; I'm getting kinda scared to the point where I want to just take it out tomorrow and straight case it 50/50, but I know that's a horrible idea. Do you think however, that I may open the jar in a GB and drain out said liquid? I'd think that if i open LC jars and grain jars for g2g transfers, i am not breaking the rules too much? And Doc T has given me legit advice since my inception within the world of mycology and Shroomery, so I cannot discredit him. Suppose I wait a few more days and pray, Thanks Z
