epsom salts and calcium chloride together?

I need to figure out a way to dry my mushies but i only have a small amount of calcium chloride and Epsom salts. can i mix these together to use as a desiccant?

im not sure why i couldnt, hence me asking... and as i stated in the op - i only have small amounts of each, not enough to do their own dishes.

As I think about this more, I'm not sure that epsom salts will help. Calcium chloride is incredibly hygroscopic, it might juts rip the water away from the epsom salt.
It would be interesting to put molar-equal dishes in a sealed environment. Put in a dish of water small enough to be absorbed by either desiccant and let them fight for it. Then weigh them afterwards and see which one absorbed how much.
But calcium chloride will soak up water until it self-liquefies. "Deliquesce" is the word.

i tried to use epsom salt as a desiccant i even "activated" it in the oven how they say you have to... it sucks man just let em sit out for a few days.
