Pain,stress,nervousness,sickness,drugs,genes,etc...all play a big role in standard blood pressure/heart rate.  My father, Myself, My grandfather, my grandmother all have high blood pressure by genes naturaly, and we all live healthy lives...The tell tale signs of it doing damage is when your body starts showing signs of it. I would def lay off the stimulants, and possibly ask more questions about your family history.  When they tested you with the "Prick finger test" was your heart pounding like it does with adrenaline?

Go find a blood pressure machine. Most grocery stores have them near the pharmacy.  Check you BP on a regular basis.  Then take the average of several measurements.  This will give you a better idea of what your BP is on a regular basis.

palmar hyperhidrosis and high BP could be linked, palmar hyperhidrosis could be a result of a consistant high BP if it was not inherited, also having too much of a toxin in your blood stream can cause a massive spike in blood pressure causing profuse sweating, headaches, turning red and blotchy..which in turn will lead to feeding your palmar hyperhidrosis...Im no doctor by definition, but i would try laying off some drugs, perhaps try a detox plan with the right methods and advice, and I use meditation to keep my BP and Heart rate very low.
