my ankles click pretty much every time i walk, i was wondering if anyone knows anything about alleviating this malady? people have told me there might be supplements or something to help, does this sound plausible to erryone? its really annoying for everyone around me if there is no carpet, shoes, or ambient noise around; thanks

Hehe I also have had this all my life. Didn't know of anyone else that had this.
I was even sometimes asked "does it hurt" and my reply is always "no".
I don't think its that big of a problem, I mean other than trying to be a ninja that it is.
good luck.

I have the same thing. I thought I was the only one too! My knees also click and pop. From what I remember in Biology class, it's just the connective tissue undergoing stress and releasing pockets of air, making those sounds. Perfectly normal, don't worry!
If you want to strengthen these tissues, I can recommend Glucosamine, but the BA of it isn't very good unless you get the right kind. There's research out there and Glucosamine supplements that work well.

All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." --Max Planck

My ankles pop constantly. I can move them and forth and make them SNAP extremely loud. When I was 16 I drank a bottle of robotussin and snap them all night and the next day my whole foot was purple and blue and nothing seemed to be wrong on x rays. I went to the ER and then to a foot specialist and they couldn't explain the discoloring.

Thanks for the input everyone, its cool to hear that other people can hear me on this (and hence needing this ninja skill of silence). I'll check out Glucosamine, thanks for the headsup
