Habitat:found growing in grass next to wood chips
Gills:dark tan brown
Stem: white, solid, bruising blue where damaged
Cap: light brown, starting to flare up at edges, edges turning blue where damaged
Spore print color: purply black
Bruising: blue, black
hoping i got lucky finding these 3 little guys

I'm no expert but to me they look like psilocybe stuntzii which I have no idea if they grow in Australia.

hey he's learning.
he does have a point tho as that one does look like it has an annulus and Psilocybe subaeruginosa is not an annulate Psilocybe where P stuntzii is.

could you explain what you mean by annulus/annulate? was planning on popping these in an hour or so, so want to be sure of what i am eating

There's no annulus(ring) on that mushroom. It's from where the stem has been bent and broke.
Your mushrooms are Psilocybe subaeruginosa.

hmm just looked it up on wikipedia, they do not seem to have a ring on the stem, if you were talking about the bigger one next to the lighter in the first pic what you can see just below the cap is where it was partially broken and had turned bright blue. also all the stems have turned quite black as they have dried overnight.

ya you think its just a broken stem? then ya def P sub. i was really just explaining why i thought maynard guessed P stuntzii. cuz it looks liike theres a ring.
