WSS, how fresh is your seed? Since germination can be hard without fresher seed...just wondering. Sorry for thread derail.

@WSS: Thanks for the info. I germinated these back in our Autumn and they grew well up until Summer. The root of the one I dug up seemed to have doubled in size even with no leaves. It's now a proper tuber.

@ Turtle-hermit; They are fresh. We get new batches a few times a year so that the seeds are never old. And the seeds can last more than a year anyway, which is evidenced by the fact that the stubborn ones sometimes pop up the following year with the seasonal changes. We've had a lot of people report success with our stock.

Good to see them still going strong. These are still on my list of plants to grow out. Too many plants, not enough time.

Thanks turtle. You should grow some, they're quite easy and need little care for most of the year. They also grow when cactus are dormant, which helps me through the Winter. Mushrooms help too.

Yeah. Basically growing it for the underground portion. With a bit of luck it should resemble a human in a few years, although I think some imagination will need to be employed.
After this I will start using them to curse and summon demons.

Thanks, I think it's cool too. You should try growing some, they practically grow themselves and I'm sure your mum can help out if things go weird.
