I remember a thread awhile back... seems a lot of people have no qualms about peeing in the sink
perhaps we are not the best bunch to ask this question to

As I stated, toilet paper prevents this.

I don't see the problem as long as it's relatively clean piss. I almost never flush the toilet after I pee cause I drink lots of water and eat healthy so my pee is usually clear and doesn't smell. Save water!
Also I prefer to pee outside.

I personally don't do this but have had friends from rural area's of australia who dont know any different. When you live off the water your tank catches you dont have much to waste down the toilet.
honestly, its not that bad.

The whole "saving water by not flushing is environmentally friendly" is retarded. 90% of water used by humans is used in agriculture and not in households.

I wasn't saying that they were saving dam water levels. I was just saying that in some instances its necessary. Which I mentioned was my friends who didnt have access to the water grid and had to live off the rain that fell into their tanks.

It's no excuse to waste a precious resource though. I've stayed at friends' farms and if there is no rain to fill water tanks then they have to pay for a water tanker to bring water to them. A little urine in the toilet is pretty low on one's list of priorities in such a situation.

Say you have a city of 500,000 people. They pee, let's say, 4 times a day. Each flush uses 1.5 gallons of water on average.
Flush every time, that's 3 million gallons of water. Flush every other time, you save 1.5 million gallons. That's every day. Million gallons here, million gallons there, pretty soon it adds up to be a good bit of water.

Yeah, fucking water is a precious resource.
I'm kind of hypocritical though because I will let it mellow if it's yellow, but I always do an immediate courtesy flush on turds so that they don't stink up the bathroom.
At least I use a low flow toilet I guess.

The French have the moral high ground here. Their approach is just to shite into a big hole into an open sewer.

Sometimes I flush yellow, sometimes I forget and don't do it. If people are over I make sure to flush cause no body wants to smell your pee.
Totally relevant.

Had one too. They suck, if you do a number 2 in it. You end up having to flush it 2 times.

i sometimes worry about this when bringing new ladies home. in my humble abode, we too subscribe to the water saving yellow-mellow-brown-down approach to flushing. some people are wound way too tight for their own good, though, and have no understanding for a stanky toilet bowl which results in me having to explain it, much like your friend had to explain it to you. it can be a bit awkward.
one thing we used to do was keep a bucket under the faucet in the shower. after a shower or two, it would fill up and could be used to flush the piss water down without using the handle and excess water. unfortunately we no longer have a bucket.
