I've been breaking sod with a borrowed front tine tiller in order to plant sweet corn and other assorted vegetables. A good oxen and a harness and plow are hard to find these days. I woke up and my arms feel like they have been broken off at the shoulders. This is why they invented tractors! Am I right? Also, how much would you charge to trailer your tractor up to central illinois and make some ruts in my dirt? I could pay you in failed ears of ilini super sweet corn and ridiculously pathetic first year green beans. And to sweeten the deal; if you get here in the next hour I'll take you morel hunting for with me for the last time this year. The season is about over here but if we walk a few hundred miles, we are bound to find something. I know it's a lot to offer but I could really use teh helps.
Oh and P.S. Please bring some peaches and pecans and a 30 something Georgia peach. Thanks. Jeff

I'm not southern, I'm central and certifiable.

over 9000 dollars... my tractor is about to be put to use for tornado clean up, my little town was spared the horrors of being layed waste like tuscaloosa, but we've been hit harder than we have in more than 50 years

the best I can offer you right now is moral support, we just had power restored after 3 days and I have a huge job ahead of me helping the neighbors

And hospitable. First time I met you, you handed me the best steak sandwich I've ever eaten.

@ Pris: Sorry to hear that you got hammered. Thankfully you were spared the worst. It's awesome that you are able to help out your neighbors/community. Your generosity will be rewarded. Perhaps I should abandon this whole garden dream and bring my chainsaw down there.
@ Doc: Steak sandwiches sound pretty good right now. Come back again again and this time we'll take out the RV and catch some fresh fish and put them in hot oil near the campfire. We look forward to your return.
