Just ate Datura, would appreciate some reassurance

Found a fairly large datura plant today and picked a foot long trunpet and three leaves. I decided I'd start off small and cut off an inch of the smallest part of the flower's stem, then wrapped it in an inch long of a medium sized leaf. Folded, chewed, and ate 45 minutes ago. Smoked some jwh (herbal incense), layed down, and just got up feeling very delirious, noticing extreme tracers, and slowmotion vision. This feels like it should be a plateau, but I can sense it's going to get stronger. What's a good way to handle this?

yeah, i agree, can't believe you took that shit. i've heard of people being so delirious on that shit that they've crossed the street in heavy traffic thinking they were in the middle of the desert or some shit.
i've never taken it, so can't tell you what it's like. i only wish you the best, and hope it'll be ok. looks like you posted this a few hours ago. has it worn off at all yet?
give us an update. peace brother.
remind me i have a hit of acid in my freezer, how long will it last in there? i keep putting off taking it for some reason, but want to take it before it goes bad, it's only been in there 5 weeks, i've had hits last longer on the shelf so i'm sure it'll be ok in the freezer.

Get a sitter. Under NO circumstancesw smoke more JWH Lie down on your bed for the next 12 hours.
Bottom 2 are to prevent excess strain on your heart, top 1 is essential for all around health.
BAD idea right here.
If you're a smoker, you can quit today or tomorrow with next to no withdrawal in the first days.

i know its a bit late for advice, but don't worry, if you can still think you're gonna be fine.
uh, you should have a sitter when doing datura absolutely.
I dunno just chill. Smoke imaginary cigs, talk to imaginary people and tree spirits.
i don't know about jhw, but weed is very synergistic with datura and i would not recommend it at all.
edit: also you should do this:

oh lol i just realized someone should have told him not to go to sleep within the first couple hours because just because you can fall asleep doesn't mean you're going to sleep it off.
That happened to me once, felt really tired and went to sleep soon after dosing. Don't remember the next 16 hours or so. Should have used the time to make arrangements for sitter.

RCs are why i don't do drugs anymore except mushrooms/ketamine/dmt. I really think the MXXX's are dangerous. When i was young i did alot of RCs, but i stuck to stuff like amt and 5-meo-dmt, that are fairly well understood. after doing 2c-i and reading some stuff on the net from people having similar reactions as me, i realized RCs are really a bad idea in general. If the animal studies are not there at least, totally skip it.
You have no idea how badly i want to rock the MXE, 3-meo-pcp and all that fun shit (and i'm sure there are going to be many more in the coming years). Dissociatives are definitely my thing, and k/dxm/pcp are all awesome but not quite perfect.
I'm not rolling the dice on my brain though.
edit: sorry i'm foggy this morning. I didn't say my real problem with the whole RC market, is until everyone gets milligram scales and absolute assurance of proper labeling in all stages (from the manufacturer down to the stupid fucking dealers who lie or don't care about what it is) RCs can stay away from me. Also lately i've become really concerned about the purity of... less than rigorously scrutinized manufacturs.
like for instance i've gotten ketamine from the same source that i've definitely received 3 batches that had wildly different character that couldn't be explained by isomer ratio, but didn't fit any other drug than ketamine by dosage and onset/duration. That got me thinking:
HOLY JESUS, i have no clue what fucking byproducts may be left in the product during the manufacturing phase and what kind of effects those by products might have on my body.
I don't even know what chemical is the step before ketamine or if its toxic or what.
All that goes triple for RCs, because K is at least diverted from pharmacological sources.

I've always been interested in Datura. Its not something I would jump at an opportunity though.
I would take it if...
-I were in my own house so I could trash it and not feel bad, I would hide all of the breakable and dangerous stuff pre-trip.
-No one is there except no more than a couple of people who I trust to keep me from hurting myself and who I can embarrass myself in front of and not feel bad.
-And if I was feeling healthy, well-rested, and positive.
If all of those conditions were met I would definitely go for it.

Uh. So. Completely forgot that I posted this. All-in-all, the apparently low dose I consumed ended up being rather manageable. I'm sure I posted this thread as I was feeling the first waves of losing control that seem to characterize most of my experience with any sort of hallucinogen. I think it was two days after this that I dosed about the same amount on the beach while smoking some marijuana. Absolutely gorgeous sunset, accompanied by extreme dryness.
I'm sorry about the huge delay in response. A lot has been going on lately. I've been moving around a lot and have just recently settled into a residence (next-door to a huge datura plant).
I appreciate your advice, and I hope to complete a more formal trip report the next time I use datura, because I am fairly interested in it now (though, only at extremely low doses accompanied with other drugs). I'm hoping, perhaps, to combine a low dose of datura with a few grams of fresh mushrooms once they're ready to harvest (lemon tek).
Again, thank you everyone. Good vibes everywhere.
