Psilocybe aucklandii

I'm happy to bring you the first images posted on the internet that show the long flexuous pseudorhiza that this species often has, the description for this species does not mention this macroscopic feature, this is closely related to P. zapotecorum which is described as sometimes having a long irregular pseudorhiza.

Unfortunately when I use MO to host the images they look slightly pixelated and I'm not sure why, the original looks much sharper!
This collection was fruiting in exactly the same location as one of my previous finds last year
That's nice to hear HighOregonCouple, if you do come down to the southern hemisphere make sure you visit the Southern Beech forests, they are amazing.

i think you could post pics of your finds - just one a day - and DAMN that would keep this place ROCKIN 
inski YOU have the finds that make everyone  
very VERY cool your patch produces like that too, fruits in the same spot when the season is right!!!! BADASS as it gets!!!

ive only seen cool pseudorhiza on mycena subcaerulia around here - its totally amazing how sometimes it can be as long or even longer than the fruit body above the ground - AWESOME

Man i swear these are almost the same as he psilocybe subaeruginosa in Tas, aus. as in you can see the gills thought the top of the cap.
