How does one go about keeping the moisture content right while sterilizing in the oven?

I'd think you'd have to rehydrate after oven sterilizing~
not sure on that though...

just cause its an oven bag dont mean you sterilize in the oven, sterilize in a pressure cooker, the oven bag is just a heat resistant bag.

i think oven bags work best in the microwave.

I do 1 minute for each cup of material in the bag, then i let it cool completely and do it again later. then i let it cool and it's ready for use.

If you adjust the moisture first and then seal the bag with a cable tie the moisture will remain the same. If your gonna pressure cook the bag, place it in the end of a pair of tights and tie them in a knot to stop the bag expanding and popping.

I think Kramer is right.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis
