SE's uberbags

Hi everyone, I have a few questions:
1) Do the pre-made spawn bags need a LC solution to be inoculated? I wanna just inoculate with spores but I don't know if there's enough moisture content in the spawn bag without a LC solution.
2) I'm also worried about whether or not these spawn bags actually grow shrooms inside the bag. I've heard good things about spawn bags inoculated with LC but not with just straight spores
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm just looking for someone to point me in the right direction.
Regards, Matt

thanks for the input. but that makes me confused because the uberbags are advertised as fully self-automated. it specifically says, 'no misting or fanning needed'

check out out-grow.com and check out his rye bags or grain spawn bags, he has fully detailed instructions on what your asking. spores are just fine, but you have to use spawn material to start them-rye/grain spawn. let me to you that a mono tub is the way to go i mean grow and out-grow has what you want for that if you feel like goin fool proof. 2 pounds spawn +2 pounds magic mountain compost+half brick coir and a lil verm and gypsum and a lil love you can harvest enough of our magical friends to set you and your buds up for a good while.

you can dunk between flushes.
misting really depends on how much fresh air your getting.
in theory there is enough water in the substrate for fruits to reach maturity.
but misting fucking rocks.

well, if you go for fruiting your bulk subs in a monotub dunking is the preferred method but one can get away with misting for two flushes without having to dunk if using a hearty casing layer. i have no clue how i would go about rehydration in the bags i mean i have a clue but not a definate outcome on that.

@Grungeman17 i kinda just wanna fruit in the bag. would i still have to dunk or even be able to? lol.
@k00laid so when the bags become 100% colonized can i just cut the top of the bag open and mist then reseal? would i have to worry about contams?
thanks for the help guys

Grain bags won't do well invitro. They are meant to use as grain spawn to a bulk substrate. It's best to use bags designed for invitro fruiting if that is your intention, or just make your own.

Like those girls on Craiglist who advertise as being "fresh, young, new to the city".
Skip bags and kits- make your own for less money and have more fun doing it. Buy a pressure cooker at a thrift store.

i'm glad you mastered the process doc, but some people here haven't scraped the surface deep enough to confidently start a bulk grow from scratch, but yet have enough common sense to successfully run spawn and prolifically fruit themselves a nice harvest with a little help from the pros. The sponsored companys of this site sell the at the highest quality possable and aim to run fair priced bussinesses to those whom could benifit from there products. There are many reasons why someone new to this hobby could benifit from presterilized spawn bags and bulk growing materials. The fact is you can do it yourself...does everybody want to or need to? I dought it and not really. To refer to our communities sponsers as craigslist hookers speaks miles of your economic knowledge and your respect for bussinesses that promote fair priced good products to an online community in which you dwell. Sounds to me like this is something you could have prospered at until out-grow and the madseason beat you to the punch.

mixed experiences clearly.
you can fruit in the bag, but if its not an isolate you arent likely to have a strong enough myc for it.
you should use LC. faster. its a race against time, dont use spores, it will cost you an important week/month/fail.
use it to spawn to a hpoo monotub if you want more. so many ways to skin a shroom...

yeah, LC would probably colonize a spawn bag 100x faster than just shootin the spores into the bag. but i'm very worried about contamination. whats the best and safest LC tek? cause ill check it out and if it sounds easy enough, i'll go for it.

all the lc teks are the same, just depends on what you're using to introduce mycelium (spawn? clone? agar? spores?) and what the source of sugar is (honey? karo? maple syrup? agave nectar?). just do a search based on what of the above you already own.
if you're worried about wasting your bags, make up a small brf cake to try the lc on....like a 1/4 pint or some small glass so you can see growth quicker and how well it dominates.

LC sucks, and it's a terrible way to start a bag. And that's part of why bags aren't ideal for newbs, you really want to do a g2g transfer.
