brf potency vs. compost potency (multispore)

Hey guys hows it goin? got a bulk grow going with 10 pounds of high mountain compost, and 6 quarts of wbs. I have my colonized compost in various size trays, bowls, and various containers. Tomorrow will be day 9 of colonization and will be fruiting tomorrow in 13 gallon tubs. Just wanted to get some input on what you think the potency will be like on these compared to the brf cakes I made before they were extremely weak. btw these cubies will be uncased and are ecuador strain from sporeworks. Also would like to know if it will be ok to use these as monotubs with polyfill holes only that it will be trays surrounded by wet perlite instead of one big bulk tub.

Potency is a function of genetics. So, there should be no difference between the two substrates.

damn that sucks, ok so the extra nutes will only make for bigger fruits then. I had read a post about high mountain shrooms being more potent?

Potency is primarily genetic, not based on the substrate.

Actually, the extra 'nutes' in a brf cake won't affect potency or give larger fruits. However, the lower-nutrition compost will give you more fruits and larger fruits, provided you use a lot more of it. RR

That is too funny! All this time I thought that was just a messed up cake. Thanks for bringing that up!

So your saying that compost has less nutes than brf?
