Hepatitis Fighting Plants/Herbs?
    #14368079 - 04/28/11 04:45 PM (12 years, 9 months ago)

Hi all! I'm new, sort of not really...Been 5 years since I've been a member but can't quite recall my old name, side effect of psychonautism I guess. Anyway, I need some advice/personal accounts of ethnos, herbs, and plants that have hepatitis fighting properties. Also liver tonic/detox and immune boosters/anti-virals. I know of [so far] Milk Thistle, Dandelion tea, Caper bush, Coffee Enemas[fun fun], and a few other random stuff. I have been studying ethnos since I was 13 [now 26] and could tell you mostly anything about them, and touched on herbal medicine, but, Alas my studies were always broad spectrum and I never really focused on liver stuff.

I like para-psychology, and is a sort of hobby of mine and had an interesting idea. Anyone who has ever had a life changing/spiritual experience using ethnos can vouch that they can change us. I was thinking about using a combo of herbs/plants to fight the hep and aid my liver, then going on a focused voyage with either lsa/shrooms with the intent of "mind over mattering" the virus...I tried it with DXM but that really is more recreation than sacrament. I have had personal experience "trip fighting" conditions so I know it can work. Any suggestions? Care to take a look at my overcoming depression with MDMA  go here http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=8424
Anyway, I know there is a vast collective knowledge here of this stuff so somebodies got to know something!

Happy Flying

the best for hepatitis is st johns wort. its been proven in labs to kill many hepatitis strains.

remember that all plants are psychedelic, some just yell loudly. st johns wort wont make you "trip" but it will give you the vision and healing you need.

Off the top of my head...
Andrographis paniculata leaf is one that inhibits HepB and HepC replication, is otherwise antiviral, boosts immune function, and protects liver. It can be grown in 1 season.
Scutellaria baicalensis root is used for chronic hepatitis, its antiviral and hepatoprotective. It takes 3+ years to grow.

Those were two primary medicines I used when caring for a swine flu patient, I never got sick... tho the flavor of them wasnt even remotely like strawberries and cream :P

Hey I dont mind icky tasting plants...I like calea tea and absinth [minus the other "cover up" herbs]. After a few shots you really dont  taste it anyhoo :scat:
I'm currently drinking Dandelion tea cuz my yard is covered in them so I have a near endless supply. It is supposed to be very good for the liver and a kidney diaretic.

I make a sort of kimchi with the greens.
