i knocked up each jar with at least 1 cc each, its almost day 4 and still no signs that i can see...after i shot up all the jars i shook them for a minute or less each jar..is that not a good idea..or does it even matter?? am i just bein paranoid on the first time or what? my humidity doesnt rise above 60, but not below 50, and the temp doesnt get below 70..slow growth, or problems??

Patience is a viture in this hobby. And if they are BRF jars, then no you shouldnt of shaken them. Humidity doesnt matter for colonization.

What jars..Pf? grain? if it was PF cakes you shouldn't of shaken them as for your humidity it doesn't matter if there still in the jars colonizing.Your temps are low for colonizing should be up around 78-80

You said your temp doesnt get below 70! Right? That is gr8 colonization temps...just leave it alone and dont look for 10 days!

I have read... Colder temps = slower stronger growth, Warmer temps = faster weaker growth. I would ask someone with experience on the subject though.
I'm on my first grow, 10th day with B+ using PFtek, I thought it took FOREVER to see signs of growth but it will happen just have patience.
Happy growing and good luck.

stronger and weaker growth are both relative.
mycelium growing in cold temps will grow slower.
but there will be almost no bacteria to resist it (due to the temperatures)
high temperature growth is faster and high temperature fruitbody production happens extremely fast (if you ever hunt fields around your area regularlyn you'll notice on hot summer days cubensis seem to mature overnight)
bottom line is both work and you shouldnt worry about heating your substrates
