Has anybody else listened to this audiobook from Lorenzo (the Psychedelic Salon host)? I just listened to the first chapter (almost an hour) and I was absolutely taken with it. I just paid 12 dollars for my download and the rest is going to finish downloading in two minutes. It is absolutely amazing, you all should check it out.
There's an option to get it for free but you really should support Lorenzo if you can, he's done some really great things with the Psychedelic Salon and he deserves your money.

There's a link there to stream the first chapter. Also suscribe and listen to the Psychedelic Salon, it's a great podcast. Lots and lots of great talks there.
Much love.

Quote:
In this novel about some members of a world wide psychedelic community that loosly calls itself "the Tribe", Lorenzo tells the story of a group of young friends who are struggling to make the transition from cubicle-working consumers into beings who are truly human. As one of his characters says, "People living a thousand years from now will remember you, not by name, but as having been part of a new generation of humans. They will remember you as one of the people who helped to build a civilization that should last for yet another thousand years."
I just listened to the second chapter today. So far it sounds like the main characters personal story. Whatever it is everybody should check it out. It is very captivating.
Anytime, A Day In The Life, just pass it on.

I just finished the audiobook. The Genesis Generation will go down in history as a key asset to the psychedelic community. As a 20 year old male this book spoke extremely true to me. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Please go give it a listen.

It sounds entertaining is there a printed copy available anywhere? I'm not a fan of audio books I prefer to read.

Fractal, as of now it is only available as an audio-book. I'm the same way as you, I was skeptical about listening to an audio-book as I had never done it before and I love sitting down with a book in hand. Just give it a shot, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I'm in the library now so I'll have to check that video out later frith.

I'm listening to this for the 3rd time now. I'm two chapters away from finishing.
This book will change your life. Please listen to it. It talks about psychedelic drugs, psychedelic society, the structure of America, the war on drugs, love, creating a civilization that is actually civilized and free of the government's grasp on food, water, and consciousness.
It's hard for me to sum up, but it's an amazing story, that will give you things to think about and new perspectives and ways of living that you can use in your life now to live an impeccable life (or at least work towards it).

I listen to the salon all the time, when I first found out about it I was listening to terence mckenna lectures non-stop for months while working my boring job. Thanks for posting the link, always forgot to buy it after he mentions it in the intro. Lorenzo for sure deserves to be sent some of my green energy.
-Ben
PS: The book is offered in a variety text formats as well as the audiobook. Print it out if that's how you like to read.

No, I'm not taking about the Sega Genesis, although Sonic 1 and 2 are amazing games.
Do check it out Brisco. They talk about McKenna quite a bit in the book, I really think you'd like it.

I do a lot of driving, so I just started listening to audio books. I listened to the Illuminati Trilogy and it was my first. Pretty cool! Downloading this now to check it out, sounds really interesting! Thanks!
