Miracle grow Expand and Grow, Main ingredient is coir, actually the only ingredient is coir, except they fertilize it.  My question is before I go buy a bag and test it is there anything wrong with it.  at the bottom of post is a list of the details from miracle grow site...

For $15 at home depot you get 17.2 qt which they claim expands to 51.6 qt, or approx 6 bricks of coir? (8 qt per brick i believe is the yield)  seems to be about the same price point if not a bit cheaper, and definately easier to find especially in bulk, my home depot has 20 plus bags of this stuff not that I could ever use that much.  Whats also cool is that its in pellet form, which means if you want only 1 qt of sub its easy to measure out that much without expanding a whole brick or potentially cutting your hand off trying to break up a brick

Where to Use: For planting in ground or in containers
Coverage Area: One 8.4QT (.33 CF) bag covers 4 square feet in ground or fills two 12" pots
One 17.2QT (.67 CF) bag covers 8 square feet in ground or fills four 12" pots
Benefits: Water Activated. Expand up to 3x.
Holds 50% more water than basic potting soil.
Makes native soil up to 40% lighter and creates up to 90% more air space for plant roots to thrive!
Use anywhere - in pots or in ground.
Feeds plants for up to 6 months.

CautionsKeep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Do not feed to animals. In the state of Washington, do not exceed 130 bags per acre per year. We recommend wearing gardening gloves when using this or other planting materials.

Available in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan

Fertilizer Analysis0.45-0.15-0.30

I dunno if the fertilizer analysis is acceptable I will do an experiment throwing in a cup of gypsum and some verm and see how my mushies like it.  Anyone have an opinion?
