I got into skateboarding as soon as I got in highschool

At first I sucked but then I mastered harflips, nosegrinds etc and gained some respect.

Seems like a lot of people on here had social anxiety in high school. I still maintained a decent circle of friends despite my anxiety, but I never really enjoyed myself until senior year when I stopped giving a fuck. I also used to skate since intermediate school but somehow never was really woven into the skater circle, yet I hung out and bullshitted with them frequently. I feel like weed exacerbated my social anxiety greatly and I never even realized it!

I'm doing great now. I had lots of fun times and did a lot of stupid pranks solely for giggles. I never really tried in high school as I never thought I was that intelligent, even though my friends kept saying I was really smart for some reason. Now that I look back I barely studied and maintained decent grades. Last semester I had a 3.9gpa so apparently I am pretty studious if I'm not being a lazy fuck and I actually am doing well in the self-motivation department.

High school for the most part was just typical awkward teenager type stuff trying to establish some type of beliefs or morals or find my place somewhere. It's fun looking back =]

I was pretty popular and well liked, but I do wish I would have concentrated on academics instead of socializing/getting wasted. But all in all, I had a fun time though.

Long hair, band t-shirt(nirvana or rage), Big ass legged jeans and a hoody.

Sold weed and acid behind the football field before and after school.

TY!

Every girl in school envied my hair. Soooo shiny and straight.

Now I keep it short. I went into the military after high school and can't stand hair on my head unless it's a man beard.

If I could grow mine long again I would. I have Psoriasis that gets bad on my scalp unless it is hit full on by the sun. I hate that shit so much. If I grow hair longer than half an inch it gets bad. If I shave my head it's like I don't even have it.

I was akward and quite antisocial to begin with, just a couple of friends & later formed a larger group of friends. I was always the person in the classroom that took everything less seriously than everybody else, I quickly understood the school 'cliques', the students and the asinine push over teachers and learned how to work around them in what seemed like an ongoing battle. I did however have a lot of respect for those that could relate to me and my friend and understood our strange sense of humour.
We were the outcasts, but not in the 'emo' sense or any other social conformity, we were normal in our own minds but lacked the attitude that was so desired from us by our peers who thought that if we didn't act like them we couldn't be accepted.

Ironically, I initally got interested in psilocybin mushrooms through the school teaching about them. I saw through the obviously negative lectures and gained an ungodly fascination about them, leaving school only to go home and read up more a which eventually led to me using school computers to access the prohibited sites and continue my crusade of research! It was at the time when you could buy mushrooms off the internet and I was so clost to ordering some but the ban beat me to it

... a lot of fun/grim memories but I don't miss school!

Same here man...

I was very quiet and a wee bit shy, unless I had a class with someone I knew I didn't say a word the entire class. Even when I knew someone I was still a quiet kid in class. Though as quiet as I was many people still seemed to know me even if I didn't really know them ...That I never understood.

Academically...At the beginning of my junior year I was recognized as one of the top 15 students or so, out of the 3200 kids that went to my high school. I had no absences, was never late to a single class, perfect "citizenship", and had a 2.5gpa or higher...That all went to shit at the end of my JR year though (will spare the details), I ended up not graduating....

Drug wise, I didn't do a damn thing...Even though most of my friends were drunk or stoned all through out high school. I smoked weed for my first time senior year, and would smoke here and there but never went to school high. The only thing I ever took at school was a few vicoden during my senior year, and I had a script for them :smirk: .....

LOL @ highscool, I kinda want to go back with the state of mind I have now. Call out teachers and students on their bullshit :smirk:

:stoner:

I was fat, drunk and high on drugs the whole time...... had a giant afro I didn't cut for like 3 years until it was just ridiculous. Had about 20 friends that I hung out with regularly and they were all losers/burnouts/criminals. By 11th grade everybody got into "hippie" crap and started getting arrested or pregnant. Only one of my friends besides me graduated on time.
Nobody thought we were cool.

But their are some righteous teachers out their:grin:
Fuck bitches get money was my miserable mindset in highschool:devil:
Also I went to class high alot, once every blue moon I had a pipe of weed stashed in my backpack, stupid kid, I was :starwars:

I was this angsty, rebellious stoner who constantly bitched about all the "preppy" kids who listened to mainstream hip hop and pop while me and my friends listened to Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.  I grew my hair out as long as the school dress code allowed(I went to a Catholic school).  My friends and I would play guitar out on the lawn during lunch break.

By my senior year, I came to realize that my exile was self-imposed, and that I was projecting this generalized "other" against which I was rebelling, even when I had nothing against anyone in particular.  Around that time I started getting to know people outside of my social circle, including the ravers who got me into ecstasy.  Anyway, by the time I graduated, I had let go of the whole Holden Caulfield syndrome.

Everyday I went to school "not giving a fuck" goofed off all day. Had an admin login on the schools network. Hooked friends up with sweet hacks. Stole some kids identity, and his homework for programming. Laughed and had funs hanging with my old friends. Graduated with honors, idk how. And enhanced diploma lawl. I got handed it and was like wtf did I do?

Everyone was concerned with highschool shit. What they wore and having a bmw or hummer. But I didnt give a fuck. Made lots of friends cause my open mind and was mostly myself. Didnt have an ego like everyone else so they found a genuine friend.

Old friends tell me girls thought I was cute and mysterious but they were to scared to talk to me.
