I'm not sure I understand the conspiracy here. The CIA had a jet, which had been used for extraordinary rendition (pulling people out of their native countries into a very different environment as an interrogation tactic). They don't need the jet anymore, so they sell it. The buyer happens to be a mexican drug cartel, who use it to traffic cocaine. Then the plane crashes.
Sooooo, what, the US knew the plane was going to traffic cocaine? From what I understand, the aircraft didn't belong to the US government, just a government contracted pilot. I'm really not seeing a conspiracy, and I'm really not liking the way that article is worded to obscure certain facts.

From what i gather.. well info wars is run but alex jones who is sort of a sensationalist/bad reporter. The original article was copied from prisonplanet.com and written by Paul Joseph Watson who is a regular stand in hosts on the alex jones show. I think that discredits him a bit. So maybe this should be taken with a large grain of salt. Not saying the government isn't involved in drug trade just saying this specific incident might not be what it seems.

Well, I would also say that a guy who has been extradited from his country in order to stand trial for being an accessory to trafficking tons and tons of cocaine is going to say a lot of crazy shit. I would too.
I'd believe it if this was a Wikileaks type situation, where we're obviously looking at a hamhanded attempt by the government to shush the flow of information, that I can understand. But ask yourself: if the FBI, CIA, DEA, DHS and ICE were all involved, like he says they were, why did they give him the chance to testify?. Who went and picked his ass up from Mexico, if not one of those agencies?
Now yeah, maybe the FBI or ICE went down and extradited him, but if this conspiracy goes as high as it's supposed to, how hard is it to get a guy near the loudmouth who is about to blow the whistle and pull a trigger next to his temple? Or poison his food? Or have another inmate strangle him to death?
While I think the situation in Mexico is escalating, I don't think it has anything to do with American involvement. The only reason we aren't there is that it isn't profitable like "liberating" an oil-producing country in order to secure resources. If we were smart, we'd "liberate" Mexico and help them rehabilitate in order to make our southern border more secure, thus aiding our already successful battle at stopping "terrorism" within our own borders.
