Don't watch spun. Watch train spotting or requiem for a dream instead. Spun just copies those two movies anyways.
edit: I watched a bit of the wall and that was kinda cool. And enter the void was cool. as was the avaitor.

Cinderella Man is an amazing film, especially if you enjoy boxing.

Such a classic. I love the one with the crumpled up paper. It's too ridiculous for words.

I never saw train spotting. Requiem for a dream sucked in my opinion, except for the scene at the end where the chicks are sharing a dildo... that was nice. I liked spun though. Mainly because I like mickey rourke.
Priscilla queen of the desert was good. City of Lost Children was awesome. Emile(?) I think that's how it's spelt it's a french film. Mirror mask. Muppet treasure island.

I normaly dont like watching movies tripping but one of my most entertaining movie watching experiences was watching the southpark movie on new years even tripping on 2 hits of very potent blotter with my best friend, just endless loops of laughter that seemed to never end, watching trippy stuff is cool but I love watching funny things while tripping more because it sets such a positive tone to the trip

I never saw train spotting.
You should, but you'll probably find it depressing. It's a historical document nonetheless.

Amélie ("Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain"); it's romantic, and brilliant. I'm not one for all the romance and stuff, but it's a good one.
Some more movies I apparently liked so much that I can remember them: - The Fisher King; great acting combined with the sometimes moving, always entertaining and sometimes hilarious weirdness typical to Terry Gilliam. - Show me love (org. Fucking Amal); it's one of the best attempts to capture the emotional confusion and peer pressure of teenage life. - Evertything by the Coen brothers; all their movies are different, but they share the same undertone - You, The Living (org. Du Levande); absurd, witty, incoherent, brilliantly photographed, and optimistic in a very weird way. - Departures; besides being deeply moving, I found it an informative and sometimes entertaining look into the Japanese culture from within. - To Die in San Hilario (org. Morir en San Hilario); 'cheerfully morbid' says it all.

The people who say "go outside" are right!
a trip is a terrible thing to waste doing mundane crap like watching a movie. You can watch a movie any time. Trip out on nature or other people. That's where the good shit lieth.
Now, that being said, if you absolutely insist that watching a movie is the only possible pastime for your first ever journey to the depths of weirdness then only one movie will do:
I'm only half-joking. Seriously though, go outside...OR:
