Adderall - First time Experience

I know it's probably quite meaningless but, I was recently "diagnosed" with Adult ADHD and was prescribed both "Amphetamine Salts, 20 MG ER" and "Adderall 10 MG". I have never taken them before and I decided to do so today.
I feel great. I can focus on everything. Even now typing, I feel so much more accurate and such. I just played Marvel vs. Capcom 3's "Mission Mode" (which is quite difficult) and I have never been more fixated on completing a task before in my life. Holy shit.
Okay, now time to take a shower and visit the girlfriend. Peace out, guys.

dude stop taking it, especially if you dont have adhd
I took it as a teenager and struggled to get off it. I also tried to quit cigarettes after 2 months of heavy use. Adderal was at least 3x as hard to quit
I helps you focus, and makes you feel good, so it'll make you think that its "good" for you Truth is, that its horrible for oyu, addictive, and sucks away your energy
I use it occasionally, using about 2-4 20mg IR Adderal a month. I just use it for big tests and essays

Hence why I said, "prescription". I need to take it considering that I work 40+ Hours a week in an office. I need to stay focused.
I don't take it recreationally.

prescription or not, using amphetamines daily just isn't healthy. 5 minutes of research tells you this. and i'll tell you from experience it fucked me up

Seriously, I couldn't imagine the intensity of your amphetamine dependance as your life goes on. You'll have to quit eventually... or end up an old man that ONLY survives on his pills.... not a good road to go down IMO.
Sorry if I came across really meanly... I just don't think that amphetamines as medication is really a smart idea.
This one girl I know HAS GOT to have amphetamines to function because she's been prescribed them for so long and she follows the dosing instructions. It's sad in my opinion.

I take it pretty routinely without a prescription, and have had an addiction before. DO NOT TAKE THEM DAILY, SCRIP OR NOT. That was my mistake. You know how awesome you're saying they are? Yeah. That's why it's addictive, because it is so fucking awesome.
I could not go a day without it, I was physically and mentally dependant upon it to get shit done.
Use it only for periods of INTENSE focus or for a pick-me-up if you're lacking sleep and need to be somewhere, and maybe mix with things for the occasional recreational dose.
Now I can use it again, but it takes a lot of self-control. Who knows, maybe you've got enough already.
Just saying, tread lightly upon the amphetamine path because you could find soon that you're too far down it and lost.
Enjoy those delicious dextroamphetamine/various amphetamine salt capsules.. wish I had a scrip.

I just got a prescription for adderall when I started school in February. I tried taking them every day before class for two weeks to see how they worked, and it turned out to be a double edged sword for me... Some times it worked great and other times it made me anxious. I stopped taking them every day and only take them if Im tired.
I honestly dont like amphetamines... I just dont know anything else that helps

Just avoid using them unless you really need to
and yeah, as that other person said, its really bad for you, but its disguised as an innocent chemical because its prescription and in a pill

I take adderall. I love it! They get better the longer they age. I Don't listen to those who say this stuff is unsafe...Its actually really safe, according to Doctor Daniel Amens book "Change your life, change your brain" I also suggest taking 1-2 20 mg's with about a teaspoon of spoon of dissolved baking soda. This will alkalize your system, resulting in a much smoother and longer lasting amphetamine ride. I suggest taking them with mood stabilizers like Neurolinks - Plenty of green tea - exercise - and water. After about 2 years of using adderall, you will notice your hair may start thinning..This indicates, its time to take a break for a month or so, or ya may start balding. The adderall makes your body produce more insulin, which converts to testosterone, which then goes to your hair follicles. That's why i get a new pill bottle and throw it in the safe, and take maybe 4 pills a month, twoX's a month and with that baking soda, that baking soda makes that amphetamine feel sooo much better...Goddamn that adderall is good!! I wanna try desoxyn..I might be able to get my doctor to let me sample it!

careful with that stuff, its a slippery slope. soon you start needing it...you'll feel like you aren't yourself or aren't good enough without it. Its a real blast at first, so enjoy these early experiences, but i strongly urge you not to get too attached. amphetamine is an ugly demon that wants to eat your soul
