If there's a beat-down happening where I work, no way I'm going to get involved. Manager on duty should call police, other employees should tend to business, starting with the safety of other guests, employees, and themselves. That's the policy for a reason. It's the right course of action.

Unless it is an extremely strong attack I'd agree that is generally a wise policy.
I remember at a store I worked at with a on-off girlfriend/fuckbuddy some dude came in one day and pushed her into a plaster wall, breaking through it, because she was having sex with his little sister.
We didn't call the cops and we totally let that happen.

Wow that's just soo messed up. I wouldn't blame the employee though because I wouldn't know what to do when all of that suddenly happens and I'm the only one working there >_>

Mcdonalds shouldn't need a specific fucking policy for protecting trannies. They tried to break up the fight and someone shoulda called the cops. Simple as that.
YOU DONT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC POLICIES SAYING HOW TO DEFEND TRANNIES? ... I bet they don't have any for men, women, children, etc.

I'm certain that McDonald's has a number of policies explicitly addressing the safety of children.
Trannies can fend for themselves though.

Na,a few fucking bitches attacking one person on the ground deserve to at least be thrown out of the place. People should have gotten involved.
It's one thing if it's a few fellas who'd put you in hospital but fuck that, sort them out.

If you watch a human being getting beaten, have the ability to intervene, and do not do so, you are fucking scum.

Jumping into the middle of a group beating? At work, for a stranger? Gimme a break.
For all I know, (s)he deserved a good beating for something totally legit. But take it outside, people!

Yeah, I guess one can always find a way to rationalize cowardice and lack of compassion.

Fights on the street or a pub I'd most of the time leave alone. It's between themselves usually and it's there own business.#
This seemed like a straight out assault though, but also I would not jump into a hairy situation where I'd end up getting battered too.
Here I would've though.

So would you guys video tape it, like the employee did? McDonald's released a statement saying they fired him already.

Videotaping is unneccesary to document the crime, i'm sure the McD has cameras everywhere.
I'm pretty sure I would have broken it up, with force if needed.
