Yea I'm just takin it easy til I see the specialist to find out exactly whats wrong cause I'm still having issues with muscular skeletal type stuff, feels like my nerves and if I don't eat a lot all the time it acts up and I feel like my brains cooking from fever. It can develop into confusion and forgetfullness but after dealing with it for 9 months going from not knowing why I'm fucked up til.now figuring out how to manage it by eating it definitely seems like hyperthyroidsm. Plus thats what the initial labs are indicating. It fits the bill. But that whole Endocrine system thing is touchy you know, one things off you got other things off or trying to compensate. We'll find out soon, I'm not worried about it

When I ate those seeds I did feel some weird popping in my throat and spine and stuff like I was being choked. Idk if they were sprayed or what but I got argyeria nervosa for sure, the hawaiin hbwr seeds off iamshaman but who knows. You live you learn. As long as your still living is what I say. I'm sure ill finish healing up from whatever this is with me being young an all(25) or get whatever needed to be fine. I don't really stress it much cause I'be delt with alot worse compared to what its like now.

Yea I understand how benzo's work. Ativan would work to just not as strong and fast acting. I have both. ER quacks are the ones that gave them to me. They didn't even kno what was wrong with me cause at the time I wasn't insured and they just ran very basic blood tests and didn't see anything. They suggested I had anxiety and everything was in my head, i even told em I hope it is anxiety and all in my head and gave the benzos an honest shot but that wasn't the case.

They made me really depressed after a few weeks. I was prescribed to take them 3 times a day as needed for anxiety but I used them sparingly. After a few weeks one day I took it and just felt so depressed I could almost see how someone becomes suicidal from being prescribed the wrong meds. I stopped taking it and had slight withdraws for about 5 days. Just was restless, felt like I needed more kinda how a smoker fiends for cigerettes, was irritable, mean, couldn't sleep for shit, night sweats, couldn't keep my feet still like my nerves were going nuts.

But it just sucked having that on top of my very real symptoms that I was told was anxiety. I was stupid for even going along with it. I knew better but everyone in the ER looked at me with dirty looks and were assholes so w/e I gave it a shot. I guess that's what you get when you don't have insurance, lol.

With hypothyroidism you would probably be depressed regardless. When I said they may have been specosa, well there are two types of nervosa: argerya nervosa var. nervosa and argyria nervosa var. specosa. They are both advertised as nervosa and since no one can directly complain that they didn't trip they may exploit it to help their profit margin(since specosa is much easier than nervosa).

Depending on the system they may just get it from the farmers and have nothing to really do with the seeds aside from selling them to people like us. In that case I doubt they would take a test sample from each batch and see how hard it makes them :trippingballs:.

One too many quack doctors out there, the only patients who get the care they need are those who are knocking on deaths door and many of those they keep alive for too long. Euthanasia is much better than what many go through. Anyway, I went through something similar; going from doctor to doctor and finding no relief, thats when I discovered www.curezone.com which helped me immensely. In my case it was more of a GI track problem but it addresses many issues that the doctors would brush off; those at that website quite literally saved my life

I'm pretty introverted. I have awesome friends and awesome fun with them, but I don't meet new people daily. Hell, I have like 4 people I hang out with.

I just have trouble with conversation. I used to be the loudest, funniest, craziest guy. Then I smoked some pot, calmed down a little bit, grew up, and learned all the bullshit. I also live in the bible belt, so meeting cool people who are down to party is difficult sometimes.

I'm not worried about it though. I work odd hours, smoke lots of pot, and am currently living the easy life with good friends. I'm not worried about having a lover or any of that.

Hyper not hypothyroid but I didn't have it before man. This all happened after I took those seeds.
It's all good tho I'm getting the right help now, Cleveland clinics are really good. Hell they're sending me to a specialist (endocrinologist) so I can get this corrected. The physicians I saw that helped reffering me to the specialist and actually running some tests and finding the probleam were D.O.'s and did a good job. It was the ER quacks that sucked and just handed me drugs like candy not even knowing whats wrong.

I'm not so depressed as in sad but hypo-hyperthyroid can cause a lot more messed up things then depression. The whole Endocrine system is connected, some people can become OCD because the hormones and bio-synthesis of proteins/synapsis and all kinds of things get thrown off. I have yet to show any symptoms of ocd. Depressed maybe as in not as much go power right now yes but as in sad no. If I was suffering from that type of depression youd think the ativan or xanax might of helped instead of making me feel depressed and understanding how someone gets the wrong meds and becomes sucidak but idk.

The D.O.'s didn't seem concerned with depression or me being a nutcase or anything like that and I told them what I took, how long ago and everything. I explained how I feel my rationalization and judgement etc all seem ok and that its just physical problems and explained to them the problems so they ran the tests accordingly to my symptoms and voila they found something that fits the bill and they're not just prescribing me something that shoukd work but they're sending me to a specialist.

I really just am getting tired of this shit but hey its been 9 months. Mentally I'm solid as solid can get which is good, Hell I wanna dose some boomers but physically it wouldnt be good, lol. I used to be in extremely good shape physically before this happened training mma at a few gyms one being Jason "dynamite"dents who's fought in the UFC. I'm not advertising for em tho just saying I was in top physical condition when this happened. It's cool man I'm not worried tho. It'll be taken care of soon

I believe they "fix" hyperthyroidism by nuking your thyroid.  They kill it completely.  Now you have hypothyroidism which can be maintained safely with medication.  But you'll likely gain a lot of weight.

At least that's what they did to a friend of mine, but that was a good 8 years ago.  Maybe the treatment is different these days.  I hope so.

We don't know if my thyroid is the root of the problem yet and depending why your thyroid is over producing hormones would depend on the form of treatment they would use. I've never heard of them "nuking" anyone's thyroid but I have heard of surgical procedures to remove a small portion of the thyroid that's not functioning properly and most the time the healthy portion will compensate enough.

I've also heard of them removing the whole thyroid by surgery and using medication "hormones" (TSH) to control your old thyroid function.

They may be able to use some sort of blocker if its signals of over production(TSH) coming from the pituitary gland. All depends on what it is.

I jog 5 miles a day now for the past couple months since I've been showing inprovement even tho I'm not at my best, same I'd run when training. It actually bothers me cause my metabolism is to high as is and I have to eat thick starchy foods so I have plenty to burn.  But it hasn't been diagnosed that my thyroid is the problem but just that its off for now.

My adrenal gland is messed up as well because of this. Since the thyroid and adrenal gland work so closely together making my sex drive almost non existent. It's coming back tho as I heal. I'm about 90% better then when this started. Seriously it was really sketchy for 6 months and I was basically in home bed rest with symptoms of heart failure just doing simple tasks and not being able to eat. I suffered from extreme confusion after eating even a bite of food along with my body temperature raising to the point where I'd slam 12-14 16 oz. Bottles of water and still keep  drinking, possible thyroid storm which is a bombardment of tsh which causes the hypothalmus to overact and your body temperature to sky rocket. It's why I was burning so much water.

I've had some really intense and a really wide variety of symptoms that I brush off. I won't go into detail because I'd sound like a hypachondriac, I took notes of symptoms and when they'd occur, how I was feeling, what I ate, how long after i ate, what I was doing, etc. to before seeing the doctors to help diagnose me. I just dealt with everything as it came. My bodies healed a considerable amount since I ate those, I mean I could live like this forever if I had to now, 6 months ago I wouldn't be saying the same thing tho. Symptoms seemed dangerous at times, especially after eating making it seem like a metabolism problem primarily. This may be corrected since it was drug induced tho and not anything hereditary. It may heal on its own, don't know yet but so far that seems like what its doing .

I will let you guys know what comes of this when I find out if your interested

Yeah, they irradiated his thyroid, rather than removing it.

Hope you do ok.  Good luck.

Edit:  I found a link.  He told me they irradiated his thyroid, so I assumed they nuked it from the outside like they do with cancer, but it turns out they use radioactive iodine orally.

Yea that sounds about right, but they use the iodine orally to prevent from a goiter (enlarged thyroid) forming but yea, it usually kills the thyroid then they would take it out. I suppose they could use it to just destroy the gland as well.  I'm pretty sure they would still want to remove it tho lol.

I can let you guys now via Pm how it goes. I see the specialist no longer then 8 days from now, may 4th. I've been waiting almost 2 months but that's good for a specialist. The D.O. was worried I might have to wait 4 months, she said if so to call her so they can get stuff going for me so I don't have to wait so long for the Endocrinologist. I guess its good being young cause they definitely don't wanna see me go downhill you know, especially since I've showed 90% improvement on my own without any help.

She's caring, she'll take care of me.

The only thing that sucks is having to eat so much all the time now but its getting better. Now its like every other day I load up on carbs then the next day nuts and health stuff but what does suck is I've been eating meats for the amino acids because it really does help. Don't know if this is a protein issue or if it has an effect on the thyroid but it seems to help. Before this I was a vegetarian even tho i didnt call myself one I didnt eat meat or any animals period.

my score on the test was

Your Score  EQ:39 / SQ:92  Extreme Systemizing

if feel surprised, I was sure to get high empathizing but apparently not! lol

I score 7-8 in introversion, and I really just consider myself a combination of introverted, aloof, and detached. When I finally understand where my place is in the world I still feel I'd be around a 7 in introversion.
