What has tripping given you a different perspective on?

So just a random question for everybody. What has tripping given you a different perspective on? For example with myself after the 1st couple times I did shrooms I have a brand new perspective and view on clouds. Like during my first trips I would look up at the clouds and they would just blow my fucking mind out of this world. Like the shrooms brought a whole new depth to them. Before ever tripping I was just like whatever those are clouds and they only ever caught my attention during the sun setting. After tripping they are infinitely more interesting and beautiful for me. Its like I was seeing them in 2D and after tripping I now see them in 3D. Anyone know what I mean? Has anyone had the same thing happen to them or just viewed something completely differently after tripping?

For me, it changed my view of life, not some external physical stimuli like clouds. I learned to be more patient and optimistic.
Overall the trip acted like an anti-anxiety therapy.

I view the world differently now. When on shrooms, it helps open up my eyes to the natural beauty that can be seen everywhere. It makes me appreciate the land and want to go explore(rather than sit in front of a tv doing nothing). Shrooms connect me with the life all around. They have made me grateful for my existence

I would have to say its changed my perspective on everything, I used to be a very different person. Not necessarily in a bad way but I used to be way more close minded and didn't have depth to thoughts about a lot of things. Thats very general but I don't really know how to explain it.

Myself. When my ego died I found peace. I sometimes cry happy tears when I remember how I felt coming around after The Big One. Tripping is such an intensely personal experience. It's the most beautifully customized thing in the omniverse.

For me it sent me on a two year journey where I came face to face with Truth. I saw infinity at both ends of the spectrum, I experienced the lines blurring between self and other, I discovered the polar ends of every thought, every natural law, and every atom and its counterpart. I watched thoughts pile on top of each other in my head and then fuck each other in a mental orgy full of purple-pink cum and explosive orgasms. I was the Big Bang, God, and the fucking Mimosa Hostilis tree from root harvest, to poor farmer, to wholesaler, to Ebay vendor, to user and everywhere in between. I saw Plato's Forms come to life before my eyes, a three-titted bitch fuck me over, and an old man destroy me with mind waves. I became a slave in the Egyptian desert and morphed into the sphinx. And on and on and on. All carefully written down in a notebook and recorded on an audio recorder.
Verdict? Fuck that shit. It'll drive you fucking nuts with no benefit. It has to consume your thoughts, if it didn't you'd be an idiot. How can something as powerful as a nuclear fucking weapon be bought and sold freely in the US? It's bullshit, its a head game, a fucked up riddle with no answer, that's why. It has no real power, no connection to consensus reality. All it can do is fuck you up and confuse you and if you forget its just a dumb game, that's when it gets dangerous. I forgot it was a game and convinced myself it was reflective of some other reality, that it allowed me secret access to aspects of myself that were hidden. Many people here have no clue that it is a game. Its a roller coaster ride and to elevate it above that status is to delude yourself and build illusions.
Yeah, I know that's only my opinion and how dare I present it as objective truth? Except it is the Truth and I suspect everyone here knows it even if they have it tucked deep down beneath the hobbit, dragon, and elf magic.
-------------------- Don't PM me with bullshit. I don't sell or trade cactus and I don't know where you can get any, other than your mother's ass.

That, my friend, is ego death. It's all bullshit. Everything in the omniverse is recycled, and recycling is often not pretty. Everything is simultaneously the virgin, the mother, and the crone.

Almost every aspect of my life... I've spent a lot of trips just thinking about whatever comes to mind. Everything from relationships, my art music, my career path, my place in the universe, and ultimatly what I want to get out of my life.
I think about these things sober too, but tripping really makes you "feel" the thoughts and think about things on a differant level that I really appreciate.
