im just taking my morning shit and suddenly i notice a few cops pointing at me through my bathroom window. as soon as i meet them in my back yard which they hopped my fence to get in they immediately hand cuff me.
one of my burnt out senile neighbors didn't realize that i was living in that house and thought that people had broken in so he called the cops.
what happened though is the cop went in my house with out question to get my sleeping roommate outside and he saw weed and a resined out bowl on my table. for this he gave me a citation for possession of mj and paraphernalia. i live in Tucson Arizona
court date is in a couple weeks. what kind of bill/charge am i looking at? ive never had a weed citation but last year i was charged with an MIP of alch but that got dropped off my record.

You're fucked, welcome to the land of locked doors.
You should plant drugs in the old guy's house and do the exact same thing to him when he leaves for vacation. Or not, if you're not a vindictive asshole.
But really, I think you're fucked.

Going in your house without your or the court's permission is illegal, although the courts seem to have a pretty blind eye to it

Sounds to me like an illegal search, but I'm no expert. If you are worried about it, contact a lawyer. They would know better than anyone I can think of.

Probably gonna get a possession/paraphanelia charge. If you're really concerned, get a deferred judgment when you go to court

you should be able to get out of this easy that cop had no right entering your residence.

I think the cops had a right to enter.
If I see someone robbing my neighbors house and I call the cops, they are going to go inside. The same would be true if I saw someone committing a homicide in a home.
The issue is the unrelated MJ charge. My guess is that since it was in plain view, it's admissable.
I'd get a lawyers opinion.

You have a good chance of getting out of trouble. Get a good lawyer. Lets hope you didn't tell them anything except "This is my house." Lets hope you just clammed up. It all depends on what you said to the cops.

Not illegal.
IF the neighbor honestly believed there was trouble AND IF the cop believed the neighbor was right (which seems likely) THEN no crime was committed by cops entering the property.
At that point, anything in plain sight is a fair bust.
Sorry.
