Unemployment and weekdays * 1
    #14348426 - 04/25/11 10:45 AM (12 years, 9 months ago)

It's great to wake up and not know what day it is with no worry.  Just realized it's Monday and it feels wonderful.

I would take leisure over money everyday...because I do.  Gotta find those odd jobs for old lady's that's where it's at I promise.

It didn't take long for me to go stir crazy when I was on unemployment. I looked like a total bum after 3 months of finding jack shit for work. I didn't shave and sat and played world of warcraft for days. Being on unemployment is fun for awhile, but I was starting to go crazy not having to do anything. I'll admit, I milked the system for awhile. I could have milked it for a lot longer, but I really needed to get the hell out and do something. If it wasn't in the middle of winter I would have been outside having fun. Unemployment in the summer is awesome.

Unemployment payments and opiate addiction sucks, especially my state cause I could spend it in a day. Finally getting up the nerve to take back some control though, makes me feel good

I'd rather be working knowing I'll have a nice check for $700 at the end of the week than not working and getting like $350.

But of course, if I didn't have a job and couldn't find one  that shit would be a life saver.  Unfortunately, in all my times of unemployment I haven't been qualified to collect unemployment.

It's raining here. My son keeps crying because all he want's to do is go play on the playground in the back yard. Poor kid.

If it was a tiny bit warmer I would just go play in the rain with him.

I was unemployed for 2 1/2 years. Just started a job last week. Fucking love every minute of it. It feels good to have a little stability back. also it allows me to pursue my hobbies more.

Haven't quite missed the "lost days" yet. There were times when I enjoyed it though.
