River Valley Foray

Went down to some forests along the river to enjoy some spring time. The fungi have exploded, I saw tons of species coming up.

That big fella was coming out of this ancient rotted stump.

Found loads of these coprinellus (I think they are Coprinellus). Man if these were worth anything I'd be a rich, freaking boatloads of them.

Uh...?

Some kind of jelly fungus I think.

Another random fungi.

And another.

And anywhere close to the river is entirely inundated.

Generally there is a very shallow creek in that location (Jesus right?)

Anyway, just thought I'd share some.

A pleasing land of drowsy head it was,
Of dreams that wave before the half-shut eye,
And of gay castles in the clouds that pass,
For ever flushing round a summer sky. -Castle of Indolence
