Great finds and good to see you attempting to propagate further. I'm sure a few people putting in the effort to spread these pups would result in a much greater foothold of this species in your area as they are sooooo aggresive
The greatest tip I had by the way was to put the stem butts straight to chip, some soaked fine sawdust and small chips on top of that egg box and growth would explode so long as kept moist
The P. Subaeruginascens / P. Ovoideocystidiata question has intrigued me greatly recently after really sinking teeth into this thread. Could we have a similar conundrum here?

Thanks Joe for taking the lead of spreading those guys in our area. Love to see more spring actives!!! Get tired of hearing all the goodies on the East coast and South.... And us high and dry, figuratively speaking. :-)

So after some warm weather in Seattle the last week or so we finally had a good amount of rain last night. Went to the ovoid patch i found a week and a half ago (my first ovoid finds and second actives find ever) and found some previously small pins augmenting nicely !!! Only got one pic today but when I go back this weekend to pick some of these beauties I will take more pics and post. These are potent fuckers. 2 grams dry had me tripping balls somewhat equivalent to a 3 gram dry cyan trip, and I hope to try out a 3.5 or 4 gram trip in the next week or two when I think I'm mentally prepared.. Have yielded about 2 ounces dry since stumbling across the patch. Will keep people updated but they are out there in western Washington and they are amazing. I will also do my part in helping to spread them.
