I've been recording my MPG lately and started to wonder if there was a specific station that gives me the best MPG or if maybe i get increased MPG becuase of the age of the gas. I've also been looking for gas stations that sell ethanol free gas, but with no luck. Does anyone have any information/ data/ experience with increased mpg ( yeah i know to drive slow, ect ) my car ranges between 25-28 MPG. drive roughly 400-500 miles a week; cost $57- $80 a week.

Tire inflation, clean air filter, clean spark plugs with correct timing. Little stuff like that adds 2 or 3 percent... per item. Which can be 10-15% in total.
But driving style is huge. Every time you step on the gas, you spend money. Same is true of the brake- if you slow down, you're just going to have to speed back up. So drive around in Neutral when you can.

Neutral kills mpg. The motor works best with a certain amount of resistance, when you go to neutral it kills all rpms, which you then have to build back to move even marginally (e.g. to maintain your speed).
So if you're cruising at 60mph, that may work until you need to put it back in drive to maintain that speed. Now, if you're coming down a mountain or hill, it'd probably add mpg, but not on flat land.
