"Kid, it's great to reach beyond your grasp- that's what being a man is all about"  Sounds pretty demeaning to me. Look, maybe I'm just a little sensitive, a lot is lost when it comes to online communication. So, I didn't mean to offend anyone here, just as I see you didn't mean to offend me. Thanks for all the good advice.

And if you must know, his parents 'sort of know' what I'm doing. It's a long story, but in the end I would not be doing this if it wasn't a safe place or I thought they weren't trustworthy people.

To answer your question, I'll be growing cubes, prolly B+ (I've always had 100% colonization with them in the past). I might try to do something with Rye if I can get my hands on a PC (any suggestions on a good strain to use with rye?) but otherwise itll probably be B+ and maybe golden teacher.

So far, I plan on incubating as many jars (not sure what size yet) as I can fit into two tubs--using the double tub fish tank heater method--and preferably the biggest tubs I can get into the space I described above.

So if I can't get the PC I will do BRF and just fruit them as cakes, but like I said I'm using a closet--any suggestions on a good fruiting chamber for a space like this? Also... the closet is not like completely closed off. The sliding door has a gap on the top, bottom, and sides--so there is some airflow. I guess let me know what you think, and thank you guys for even checking out this thread. You've already been very helpful.

Why you choosing B+ ? Just curious.

If your going to grow them, id say get a decent size shotgun FC and find a way to put a light above it. Being in the closet may force you to have to fan/mist a little bit more but itll be fine.

I would take the money your trying to spend to build a dub tub fish incubator thing, and spend it on better supplies. Your jars will be fine colonizing at room temps, no need to push it.

Just be safe and know what your doing. Please dont grow in someones house if they are not aware of it. Be safe and have fun

Hi, just my bad English so with google.
I want to ask whether the 18-20gradusa Celsius will have some growth?
Gotta have the cake is hidden from my parents.

It was loose brown rice with horse manure, but it pulled and then put in a poor tec wardrobe with perlite mokar. No aquarium heater is free and it's temperature momenta.Shte growth because there are already 7-9 days in fruiting chamber and only a few hyphae

haha, see you are pretty hostile. That's like the definition of hostility.

If you don't like the thread then why do you keep coming back to it?  Oh yea, because you're hostile. When I said it was a long story I wasn't lying. I'm not growing anything illigal in someones house without them knowing... lets just say that the head of the household suffers from bad cluster migraines and that it IS a very long story.

I have legitimate questions, and thank you to those who have given me some valuable information. The reason I chose B+ was just because I've had success with them in the past and they seem to be a pretty reliable strain.

Any recommendations on a good strain if I do RYE? I kind of like the idea of a monotub but I feel like it'd be stupid to use BRF cakes with that. Does anyone know of any strains that do well with restricted air flow?

Well, thanks for trolling and again not reading the whole thread. Please only post if you have something nice to say, there's no need to go on here and just troll me. If you had read the thread you would understand that my growing area is in someone elses house, and that the situation is complicated--they know exactly what I am doing (the consequences) but that's all they know, and for a good reason. I have a lot of trust in these people, but really, it's besides the point.

No, I don't go to Ohio State. And also, you assume I don't know anything about cultivation. I'm a newbie, but I'm a well read newbie. I'm just asking for a more knowledgeable person to say what they would do with this space if they were going to use it to cultivate. I don't see what is so offensive about this. If you don't want to give me any help, then don't, but please stop turning this thread into a petty argument that is besides the point.

I've decided to split my jars up into half RYE and half BRF. I plan on doing a shotgun style FC for the BRF cakes and for the RYE I plan on doing one, maybe two monotubs. I thought it could be neat to hook to the monotubs up to a cool mist that I use soley for FAE with some perlite for the RH. Any opinions on this? I was following the "Orissa India Bulk Grow (Tub Tek), it looked like a pretty neat set up.

You guys have convinced me to do away with the double tub incubators--most people here seem to think they're more likely to introduce contaminants, and that the jars will do just fine at RT.

And if you really must know, anything I do end up growing isn't going to be sold. Like I said, the owner of the house suffers from terrible cluster migraines and happens to be a very talented chemist. I really can't say any more but can you please stop getting on my back about the growing space. If you're a true myco enthusiast this is an endeavor that I can assure you that you would support.

Hey man. I thank you for your enthusiasm in wanting to grow such sacred medicine. However, no one here is going to help you if you are putting someone else in jeopardy. Even if their parents know what you are growing, it is not your parents or your property. Read up using the search engine and from their use that free will of yours you were gifted with and make a decision and follow through until you cannot any longer.

Good luck with your projects and have a blessed journey.

Idiocy. You clearly lack critical reading skills. You fail to understand that not only do the home-owners know what I'm doing, they fully understand the consequences and are aware that I am using the space. The point is that they would like to maintain a something like plausible denial. How blunt must I be? I'm trying to be subtle for a reason, but clearly critical reading is not your strong point. I was hoping mycology was, but you seem more inclined toward ignorant criticism. I guess I will just have to go from what others have said on the thread, because clearly you are not going to say anything intelligent.

And trust me, I wouldn't put someone legal well-being in danger without them being aware of it. I must apologize for being so snappy in this post, but it's incredibly frustrating that, for whatever reason, you remain incredible cynical about the location of my growspace. I'm going to go along with it either way, the only difference will be more or less yield. And since I really am doubting your critical reading skills let me spell it out to you.

Psilocybin + Chemist with cluster migraines= one more step to researching a cure for Cluster migraines which in turn would be a step towards legitimizing this amazing fungi.

Now, if anyone except DOC_T (I know there are plenty of helpful, friendly, informative people on the shroomery) can help me out, please do so. I ask you as a humble newbie to please help me out, and again my apologies for being so rough in this post. Nothing frustrates me more than a troll--especially one who doesn't even bother to read the thread.

We already explained upthread why a closet won't work well- perhaps you read that part?
Nobody has any input on how to make it work well because it won't work well.

And then a few people have explained why it's also a bad idea, besides not working well.
I think I was the last person interested in the thread, and now I'm done too. Have fun.

Well, there was actually some conflicting things said about the closet not working well. I know its not the best environment for FAE but that's why I was wondering if you knew of any techs that were good for this sort of environment--like the tub tech i made a reference to a few posts back.

I'm just looking for some clarification--I know that a closet is not ideal, but since it is all I have to work with, what would you advise (besides that its not a good idea). And again, sorry for getting so gruff in the last post. I do admit that I have a temper, so for that I apologize. I'm in the midst of writing a 16 page paper, so that doesn't help. I'm simply a frustrated newbie who is pressed for time.

But yea, I've seen your monotub shotgun hybrid, do you think that might be appropriate here? I could supplement it with an in closet fan or something to get the most fresh air.

Yeah, it never goes well. Never. One common outcome is that someone steals the crop and then phones the cops on the farmer and plays stupid. There are many outcomes tho, mostly bad.
