*I couldn't find regular dried corn nearby, so I visited the pet food isle and found cracked corn for birds! (perfect size, go with cracked corn if you can*

You are on the right track with Cracked Corn!

Id say it colonizes about three times as fast as millet!  :grin:

Great write up! This was my first time using CC and I could have done better with the cooking of the corn (didn't soften it up enough with the 24hour soak). Your write up will be very handy with the next batch. Oh and thanks for the compliment about the site :smile:.

I gotta 50 lb. bag of CC. I'm gonna do up 7 jars if my Pl. djamor plates ever colonize so I can make some more syringes.

It says it has some kind of preservetive on it. I'm not sure if that will be a problem or not.
