So i just finished watching 'Paul McCartney Really Is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison' released in 2010.
Allegedly a cassette tape with George Harrisons voice was sent to a news agency in the US confessing the truth about Paul; as George thought he was about to die (having been stabbed at his home).
Paul McCartney supposedly died in a car crash in 1966 and was replaced by a look-alike. His death was covered up by the Beatles and Londons MI5. Clues were left throughout the bands lyrics and album covers. This is ither one great joke or Paul really did die. What u guys think?

No sorry man. Its kinda fun to dig into, but its silly nonsense. My money is on them doing it intentionally to fuck with people.
Lyrics from glass onion: "I told you about the walrus and me-man You know that we're as close as can be-man. Well here's another clue for you all, The walrus was Paul."
Beatles lyrics are like parables. Give them any meaning you want.

No but more people are apt to buy rerecords if they think someone died. Look at Michael Jackson.
